Ok here's my rundown ...

Pixar Pier/ Paradise Pier: Thematic Downgrade/ Aesthetic Upgrade

California Screamin/ IncrediCoaster and Queue: Thematic Downgrade/ Aesthetic upgrade.

King Tritons Carousel/ Toy Story Carousel: Thematic Upgrade/ Aestheic Upgrade

TSMM and Midway games: Thematic upgrade/ Aesthetic Upgrade.

Mickeys Fun Wheel: Thematic Wash/ Aestheic Wash.

IMO much of Pixar Pier will look a lot better. Eventhough it's at the expense of another non sensical acquisition land. Seems like attaching IP is the only way to get any budget to do anything these days. The imagineers must be INCREDIBLY bored. Do you see what I did there?

California Screamin may be an aesthetic upgrade (not hard given it's just a stucco wall with a metal roof) but it's a thematic downgrade. They're literally doing the opposite of the place making they're famous for.. Instead of thematic harmony, all the aesthetics will be incoherent. Think of how terribly that new station and the orange pipes will look against the victorian architecture.

Welp, looks like Chapek's fate is sealed. Gonna miss that guy after this completely tanks!

At least we all have comfort knowing that the Incredicoaster's queue (how is that really the name? I feel like I'm at Six Flags) will look great with Pizza Oom Mow Mow just across the other side of the land! And not to mention how thematically consistent it is with that nonstop Beach Boys loop that plays here!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Oom Mow Mow is long gone

I think it's funny that the parade building (decorated to be semi-victorian pier like, granted not very well) is there behind this new Incredibles mural.

This is why I find so laughable and just sad. We have to spend a $100 let alone $1,000+ of dollars for a vacation for this!? :D

Kind of a sloppy illustration. Apparently the mirrored rim around the Fun Wheel will now be 3 storeys tall.

The InsideOut attraction will probably be very pretty at night, but claustrophobic during the day. Orange Stinger lessons not learned.

The semi enclosed feel might give the Inside out spinner a bit of a thriling aspect to it. The Orange stinger gave you that feeling when sitting inside the swings as if you would hit the walls but it was an ugly structure. I'm wondering if this wall around this one will be more like the Alladin spinner from Paris. Just a background

I really don't think there is any better description for this than laughable, or perhaps embarrassing. A multibillion dollar company known for their decades of wonderful and imaginative storytelling... and this is what they come up with? Ha ha ha. Just shut it down, Disney. You've gone and lost it.

I heard someone actually talking about this project in my history class today and they had absolutely no enthusiasm for it. I don't think Disney truly grasps how no one is excited for this. Don't they know Pixar's latest films have not been that well received, save for Inside Out and possibly Coco? If this was done in 2010, there'd be hype because Pixar had a good track record, but they have a pretty lousy one for the past 7 years. It's so poorly timed, Disney! You're nearly a decade late!

So the spinner we were expecting in the southern helix is now in the northern helix instead... Did plans change or did we all assume incorrectly?

Hmmm... I wonder if they would ever consider using the southern helix now as entryway to a future Incredibles dark-ride?

Here's the thing: This is what people want. I promise you Pixar Pier will be the next big hit with Guests and Bob Chapek is probably next-in-line for CEO.

We are not the majority. Disney knows this. That's why they ignore us unless they want to sell stupid retro merchandise with a Walt quote on it.

They gotta do what they gotta do to keep Lassetter from complaining about Bugs Land being removed.

Yet on the blog, not one comment is positive about it.
