In all honesty I actually am pretty confident that’s the plan. Close Bugs Land, reskin Fliks Flyers.

Would make sense why that Inside Out ride is coming at a later date... they need to announce Marvel Land and the closure of some or all of bugs land and then close, repaint and reskin and move to the Pier... I hope its a new ride tho, with a little more of a thrill element as all the boardwalk rides are really tame.

Love the name IncrediCoaster! Don't love that they aren't enclosing the queue but the station is certainly a marked improvement over the screaming station. Love the look of the station and just wish there was more of it.

Told y'all not to worry about Mickeys face!

It's hilarious that the only thing to come out of this is a crappy spinner that exists elsewhere in my park (mark my words, the flat is a new ride and not a relocated Flicks Flyers).

This is truly, truly laughable. Remember, someone looked at all this and said yes, this is a good idea, let's do this

I again laughed while reading over the article. The Mickey face stays, though it’ll look sorely out of place, and the other half of Paradise Pier wil be considered another land. What?

The only thing pleasing to the eye is the Googie architecture of Screamin’s new queue. Otherwise, what???

Look, our guests have begged us for years to install a 15 foot tall Jessie statue.

Do you really think that two E tickets would only be part of a phase one of Marvel land? That's seems highly unlikely. That's not happening. If there is any sort of phased approach, each one would contain one attraction. What would phase 2 be? The restrooms and a restaurant?

Unknown, I think it was only assumed that backlot and eastern expansion would be for Marvel based on the MC rumor mill.

But who knows that this point.

I for one can't wait to buy some Paradise Park merch. Lol :cautious:. Is this a Grizzly Peak / Grizzly Peak Airfield type situation?

"Come to Paradise Park: the half of Pixar Pier that didn't quite make sense to "re- theme".... mostly because of Little Mermaid.. and oh yes there is no park."

Honestly look at the image... it’s the exact same ride.

I agree, it is the same ride. But I'm having flashbacks to 5 years ago (ok time flies, it was actually way longer ago) when everyone thought that the additional Dumbo spinner in the Fantasyland expansion would be a reskinned Aladdin Flying Carpet spinner. But no. Disney loves their spinners and they seem to be more than willing to spend probably around $600 on a new model. It probably would cost the price of a new spinner just to reskin and relocate Flick's Flying Things.

"This new, permanent land in the area that is now Paradise Pier will introduce four new neighborhoods representing beloved Disney·Pixar stories... The fourth neighborhood will be a celebration of many of your favorite Pixar stories."

Big round of applause neighborhood 4... A franchise subland within a franchise land within a franchise park!

Does Disney even need imagineering anymore? It seems like they could replace all of imagineering with John Lassiter and a bartender and the output product would be identical.

Right. It really is comical. What about those attractions scream paradise, exactly?

I like that they are enclosing the tubes, could make for some cool effects. I really never liked seeing them uncovered and with burnt lights. It would have actually been could if they had taken the extra step and extended the launch tube so that it went all the way to the start of the Launch. A nice covered tube with rockwork work around it to hide most of it would have looked great and maybe allowed them to run the coaster during WOC. not sure what the requirements are for safety in regards to running the coast at night with minimal lighting.

I have to say that i'm ok with this change, the Pier needed some major rehab and this will make that happen. I'm also ok with this in Anaheim than a Toy Story only land anywhere in Anaheim. Hopefully the next step is o add another indoor ride with a queue placed somewhere where the stores are and the large structure behind Incredicoaster used

Ok, so while I approve of the midcentury loading station for Screamin', are they actually going to change the shingles on Midway Mania to blue? It's already an attractive Toy Story-appropriate red!
