We’ve had this argument before, so I’ll just say this. Car Land would have been better. That’s my opinion. If you disagree, that’s fine.

That thing is such a forgotten relic. Does anybody even remember that that used to be the icon of the entire park? I don’t even think they care to keep it visible past the trees anymore.

To be fair, it looks way cooler covered by the trees. I'd hate for them to trim and remover that forest; it's the best thing in the entire park.

I think it's one of the most pleasant parts of the whole park, and frankly the whole resort too. I do remember when trees were small and the peak was considered to be the park icon. Sigh... good times. (Err - well, actually stressful sad times, but whatever)

Underrated (or ignored) point in too many of these discussions.

Park expansions are massive money pits these days. Way more expensive today than in the past. WDC is too conservative to spend that kind of money on something that's nothing more than concept art.

An IP with proven financial viability will get a big budget that some imagineer's pet project never could.

To be fair, I appreciate the effort made on the theming of Emotional whirlwind and its integration, despite the ride being only a retheme of Flik's Flyers.
The thing that really bothers me with this addition is the amount of simple spinners on the west side of paradise bay (Emotional Whirlwind, Golden Zephyr, SSS), I would have prefered Disney to retheme Heimlich or Tuk & Roll to add diversity to the big collection of simple flat rides in DCA

I would prefer another 47 spinners in Pixar Pier before one Tuck N Roll
