Why did they even bother doing the conversion if two of its “new” attractions aren’t even going to be ready until 2019? Do they think that 2 reskinned flat rides will increase interest in the Pier?

I’d be a little more okay with Incredicoaster if WDI had blown the budget on a great intro and finale with Edna and Jack-Jack ala Rocket in MB, but as it stands now it looks so lazy.

Its a real head scratcher. I guess they know most people really only care about the rollercoaster and TSM but if you're going to make a big deal about it then it would be nice if all the rides were actually opened. I still think its pretty funny they managed to delay a ride that has already been sitting in PP since its existence. And just a merry-go-round at that. This project sounds like it was done as bare bones as possible.

It’s also a looping coaster with the strictest height requirement in the entire resort — that alone weeds out a lot of people automatically.
And, as much as I hate to defend the revamped ride, Screamin' with 4 or 5 trains running has always had a very fast-moving line. How many trains are they running today, anyway?

Same... couldn’t even tell ya what the previous ones were, or the ones before that.
The previous games were charmingly themed to Dumbo, Goofy and--best of all--Casey at the Bat. They were carny games, but they were the best-looking carny games ever, and fit the classic Mickey era re-theme of the Pier. Things were looking good, and then-*Insert Whoopie Cushion Effect*

Fans and critics alike should be interested in the wait times this opening weekend. No big surprise, Incredicoaster has the highest wait time at the Disneyland Resort. Earlier this afternoon on the app the Incredicoaster wait time was posted at 180 minutes, and the Fastpasses were gone for the day already.

Now at 5:00pm, here's the Resort wait times. Anaheim's high temp today was 74, and it's currently sunny and 71 degrees in Anaheim with a light sea breeze, and Disneyland is open until Midnight and DCA closes at 10pm.

Grizzly River Run - 10 Minutes
Small World - 20 Minutes
Submarine Voyage - 20 Minutes
Haunted Mansion - 25 Minutes
Star Tours - 25 Minutes
Indiana Jones Adventure - 25 Minutes
Pirates of the Caribbean - 30 Minutes

Okay, this is actually really cool. DCA has always been lacking in these special little experiences like Disneyland has - the firehouse, the secret back paths (like near the Harbour Galley), the pet cemetery, piloting the Mark Twain, the shooting range, the Lily Belle (maybe only accessible by tour now?), The Court of Angels (RIP). Its the little things that round out the park and make it feel full.
Except this room only exists so that Instagram celebrities can brag about being allowed access.

I want to say one was Casey at the Bat, one was Dumbo, and one was Toy Story with Bullseye.

EDIT: Looked 'em up afterwards. There was also Goofy about Fishing. They should've had one like the Frontierland Shooting Exposition themed to Bambi. Would've been a hit.

You beat me and I didn't even notice. Honestly they were so charming. These feel like actual boardwalk games whereas the previous ones felt like boardwalk games but with the Disney touch.

All I can say is Disney takes great pleasure in annihilating our ears with the name “Jack” on rides.

Not the Jack we want Uunfortunately.
