Dodger Dogs...blasphemy. When I was younger, much younger and thinner, I'd polish off two of those no problem. Loved me some Dodger Dogs...but not so much the Doyers.

Haha Apparently they were better back in the day. The problem is how they taste in this day. The dogs im talking about.

Favorite frozen food to buy at Costco: microwavable Angus Cheeseburgers. :D
(I don't have a membership, but sometimes I tag along with family and/or friends and toss things in the basket, then pay them back in cash at the car.) :D

I finally made it to Pink's for the first time a few years ago. Met up with a friend from NY for a night out in West Hollywood, and like good tourists we went to Pink's for a late snack after last call. It was such a scene at 2am on a Sunday morning! Very fun and their hot dogs are delicious.

I’m partial to their Emiril Lagasse dog. If they had a downtown LA dog (grilled onions, grilled bell peppers and bacon for those who don’t know) I’d probably order that.

Disney had over 15 years to improve Screamin's station and brake run with that kind of theming and did zero (any high school theater arts class could have improved Screamin's brake run in one weekend as an extra credit project).

I enjoy Knotts and are starting to like it more and more but honestly the boardwalk area in Knotts is terrible. It is just one huge area of concrete with a large pool with spinners plopped in the middle.

The lack of greenery makes it look worse.

The new coaster has some nice simple garden areas but it is still just a large coaster plopped over the concrete queue of endless switchbacks. The loading area is nothing special. It’s just an open air coaster loading platform with a covering right next to a large building with a mural.
In other words it’s pretty much what Screamin looked like.

The one huge difference is that DCA boardwalk actually has lots of structures within a compact area which makes the place feel a bit more like a boardwalk.

Knotts really needs to think about a more diverse roster of rides for the boardwalk area that would better use that piece of land

It's sad that the sandy areas around the bay look more like the east coast than California. (See Jaws) We don't really have tall grasses, wooden picket fences and rocks on our beach line.

About that little stretch of beach at Paradise Pixar Pier... Have you been to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in Northern California? It’s beach looks nearly identical. Wooden fences and all! I’m pretty sure that area of sand was based on the shoreline of that real-life boardwalk.

I was thinking the same thing. Not all beaches in California look the same.

Looks like my DCA boycott is going to be put on hold, lads. Just got two free park hoppers (they're good for anywhere but no one will go to Paris with me) so it looks like I'll be able to experience the all new Pixar Pier and Mission Breakout this summer. Then I can criticize it and no one can argue with me because I'll have real first hand experience.
I want you to Facebook livestream your face while on GOTG:MB please, thanks.
