It's a pier. Instead of classic Disney characters it now has Pixar characters. Since Day #1, it has never been anything remotely close to resembling an immersive land. Because it's a pier.

This whole thing is just validation for P&R to acquire budget to give it new paint and some touch ups while making the folks in corporate synergy happy. There's no there there, it simply just is what it is.
