selfish desire for wealth to me.

I'm not at all saying this is a bright genius move or that it's anything people should spend money on. But, while it's easy to personify a company (especially one named after a person), Disney is not a singular person. This is the result of one team trying to hit revenue goals and going about it in a pretty stupid way.

Normally they have press events, and I believe that is when the Vloggers get invited to check out new things early. I know Disneygeek typically gets invited to press events.

And I can guarantee there will be plenty of APer, non Vloggers, who will be eating crackers and water for the next month and a half so they can afford the price tag on this.

So I’ve all but given up on my dream of a suspended Aladdin E ticket in Anaheim but how about a suspended Coco E (or D) ticket for Pixar Pier where you re riding an alebrije through the land of the dead. It would be a guaranteed smash in So Cal and the movie has great source material for a dark ride.

Every day all the time everywhere?

Are these people the same folks responsible for this? I think not.

Start a write-in campaign for it now. If Disney sees their is actual want for it, then maybe it'll happen.....

Yeah, and that awfulness was laughed off the face of the planet and probably cost them more than they made on it.

And? The point I'm making is that Disney [Parks] is greedy as demonstrated by several money grab stunts it has pulled across multiple resorts recently. Whether customers scoff or not isn't the issue here.

So the only things not running for the event is the carousel and the inside out spinner, both were previously said available at the end of the year.

Guess they are farther along in the construction process than we think....

I guess we just see things differently... I see a people trying to hit revenue goals by throwing a bunch of @#$ at a wall to see what sticks. If consumers want to pay it great, if they don't, then also great as it sends a message that something isn't working. That's not greed.

Greed is when you shortchange your employees, cut their wages, lessen their benefits, etc. All things Disney has certainly been guilty of. So I'm not going to sit here and say Disney as a company has not done greedy things -- I just don't think offering up lousy events or half-baked lounges are among them.

While a suspended ride system would be great, I also think Monster's Inc. is a perfect candidate for a Coco makeover. Large enough show building, track's in place... vehicles aren't ideal, but I'd take this possibility over no Coco ride. No one will miss Monster's Inc.

Fair enough. So what do you call it when you shortchange your customers, reduce offerings, and up-charge for things that were once free when you are making more money than you know what to do with?

Not a bad idea. Or how about just get rid of the existing track and add the suspended track to the monsters building? Probably not happening now that Pixar Pier exists. If space is an issue with Pixar Pier I nominate the challenge trail space with an entrance from somewhere between Mermaid and seaside Souvenirs.
