Pandora - The World of Avatar opening day reports

Good for them. It's hot out. It just opened. It's a very pretty park. It's Memorial Day weekend. Not at all surprised it reached capacity. What's the amount of guests it can handle?

About 10k, definitely under 15 long term. Currently functioning like 5-7. Poor Ops were thrown to the wolves.

Memorial Day, or around there, seems to be the new target date for openings. If anything Volcano Bay rushed their opening to try and take the thunder away from Pandora. Clearly VB wasn't completely show ready. But, and this isn't geared at you, I'm tired of the "fan war" between Universal and Disney on these boards. I'm tired of the "negative nellies" refusing to believe anything positive, I'm tired of those who are positive being name called pixie dusters ... we're all mostly grown adults and I think we're all a bit better than that. Like I said in another poster, there's a difference between a difference of opinions and posters who have an agenda (both negative and positive).
Well if that was the intent, they failed in that regard. Volcano Bay is currently at capacity. They literally could not do better today. :joyfull:

Sorry, it was just a joke based on a discussion from another thread. I tried to add the winky thing to imply I was kidding but the meaning was apparently lost. I had no intention of starting any kind of Universal vs Disney debate. Let's just enjoy the opening of Pandora...it was a long time coming.

For the record I don't think Disney even considered Volcano Bay when setting an opening date for Pandora. Expectations were set much higher and the stakes were too high to mess with the opening of the land just to one up a competitor. VB will most likely be a big success for Universal but that success has little impact on the success or failure of Pandora.

It's to gain hype but that length of time was a bit much. I think most people forgot about it until recently.

It was a knee jerk announcement at the time but the length of time was ridiculous. Imagine hearing about everything years before construction begins. I feel Uni did the same with Nintendo and I'm very much looking forward to that but how long are we waiting? LOL

Can confirm. Line is by Lion King entrance now. Might wrap around and the end of the line will be in Pandora!

Are you waiting in the line? We're watching RoL now but plan on heading back down. Hoping that pandora doesn't hit capacity for EMH.
