I don't have numbers at the ready, but the lines just to get in the Potter area were 8 hours plus and stretched around the park, after waiting for hours in the Citywalk area trying to get in. I remember seeing the whole sidewalk in front of the Hard Rock Cafe completely full with lines, lol. I don't think we will ever see something like that again, maybe Star Wars who knows.

I think the only IP that will indeed beat Harry Potter’s opening is Star War’s. I personally know people who HATE Disney who will visit simply to see Star Wars once its complete.

I can easily see the line for “The Star War’s Experience” stretching into the parking lot/bus stops. With them running out of parking by 9 AM. The fandom for SW makes HP look mediocre.

Well if that was the intent, they failed in that regard. Volcano Bay is currently at capacity. They literally could not do better today.

So now that Avatar looks successful can Disney please start work on another project with James Cameron... I'm dying for Terminatorland. Maybe as a replacement for Tommorowland?

We're in pandora now, lines for everything are really long, but the walkways and trails aren't too bad.

Interested in all these Volcano Bay comparisons. Not sure how that works, Disney certainly wasn't building Pandora to compete with a waterpark. If people wanted to spend their Saturday at a brand new waterpark then they only had one choice. If on the other hand they wanted to do Pandora on opening day they had but one choice. I don't think anyone went to Volcano Bay because they thought Pandora was going to be to crowded or vice versa.
