I really hope we get Paint the Night at WDW. I've been jealous of it since I saw the videos of its debut in Hong Kong. If we don't get the exact parade, I hope we at least get something similar soon. MSEP is incredibly dated and I personally don't care for it at all anymore.

While this might seem out of place and sounds cheesy, I'm picturing a float dedicated to The Aristocats featuring Duchess,Toulouse,Marie, and Berlioz and the float can be a giant Piano (With Marie standing onto, while Berlioz can be seen playing it) and Toulouse can be seen painting something and Duchess can be seen between her kittens. If that won't work, then that might be seen during the finale. For some reason, if that doesn't fit then it might work better at Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights if it ever gets a new float in the future. Since Marie can be found in the finale for the "It's A Small World" floats.

I remember the Scat Cats being featured for America On Parade in 1977. I remember Marie used to be found at Disney's California Adventure's "Dancing With Disney" party.

Maybe if they did bring Paint the Night they could put a upbeat version of the SpectroMagic theme in Baroque Hoedown's place with When Can I See You again.

I think I read somewhere that PTN only has a year contract at DL... Even if that is true I don't see why DL would ditch PTN that quick! DL fans would be furious to say the least lol.

I think you are confusing that with the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration lasting a year.

Paint The Night debuted on May 22nd as part of the Diamond Celebration, but will obviously be at Disneyland for years to come long after the Diamond Celebration is over in 2016.

I've seen Paint the Night on Youtube. It is a better Parade than Main Street Electrical Parade, but the Magic Kingdom needs a different one. Magic Kingdom needs a parade that wouldn't be consider a hand me down.
I hope you can see it live any time soon, cause even though it looks great on YouTube, it doesn't even come close to what it's like in real life! I was in DLR a couple of weeks ago and was blown away. Sometimes I even had to squint my eyes cause the lights were so bright!

Man, out of all the things I missed on our recent DL vacation, Paint the NIght is the thing I regret missing most. So, I wouldn't ENTIRELY mind if it was brought to WDW.

As long as they remove the Pixar units and add more floats that are based on past Disney films.
