Anything new on the Wishes' replacement?I wish PTN was coming to MK... Unfortunately it seems the only thing coming to MK is a Wishes replacement. I wish we were getting both a new nighttime show And a new light parade!
The magic kingdom, i think, deserves an original new nighttime parade. Not another duplicate or hand-me-downI wish PTN was coming to MK... Unfortunately it seems the only thing coming to MK is a Wishes replacement. I wish we were getting both a new nighttime show And a new light parade!
As long it they are given new floats besides the Toy Story and Monsters Inc floats and more representation of past Disney films.I wish PTN was coming to MK... I hope we might get a new electrical parade similar to Spectromagic if WDW ever plans on getting a new nighttime parade for it's 50th. I remember hearing rumors about a new electrical parade coming to Disneyland back in 2009 or 2010.Paint the Night is a terrific parade. It really is a great show for Disneyland. That being said, apart from the Baroque Hoedown references, the song itself is not something I was fond of. I hope that WDW gets something lavish a la SpectroMagic. It needs that grand experience. And the musical score to reflect that.
If it does, I hope it might be able to come close to the level as Spectromagic did. There's something about the parade that gives you a special feeling after you leave the Magic Kingdom at night. The magic kingdom, i think, deserves an original new nighttime parade. Not another duplicate or hand-me-down
No wonder I felt very sad and bummed leaving WDW back in 2006 and 2004. It's like Spectromagic and Wishes both hosted by Jiminy Cricket knew they had a perfect way to end the night at the park and a good conclusion to any visitors final night at WDW before leaving. If Walt Disney World ever does get a new nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom I would love if it had subtle nods and musical references to SpectroMagic! That parade was distinctly Walt Disney World and I loved how Jiminy Cricket was the host for both Spectro and Wishes, it made the nighttime entertainment feel like one whole piece that flowed into each other and the space between parade and fireworks was like an intermission.
Now that I type this, that's what I'd like to see an new parade, projection show, and fireworks that are designed to compliment each other.
As long as it doesn't contain any modern pop type music as heard in Paint The Night. Don't get me wrong I love the soundtrack for PTN but I really hope a future nightime parade for the Magic Kingdom can be similar to Spectromagic. Heck the parade's soundtrack is longer compared to MSEP depending on the soundtrack or music you get. I mean the finale for Spectromagic always gave me a lump in my through like it's telling you that the characters are wishing guests farewell or goodbye.Paint the Night definitely has a MSEP vibe (Obviously newer), I think they should make a brand new night parade and make it with a spectro vibe. I miss Spectro so much
Hopefully a new parade like Spectromagic could possibly debut for WDW,s 50th anniversary in 2021.WDW needs to have its own unique experiences. Why would we want the same thing from somewhere else? WDW did have a remarkable parade called SpectroMagic. Unfortunately, management made a poor decision to store this multi-million dollar parade under a tent. Thus it had to be destroyed as it was beyond repair due to termite infestation. We need our parade back. With new updated floats, lights, and something technically advanced that will blow away such parades as Fantillusion, Dreamlights, and Paint the Night. Evenings in the park are just not the same without the Wonderful Worlds of Disney, in SpectroMagic. We need SpectroMagic 2.0!
I hope the next nighttime parade at WDW might finally arrive in 2021 with more floats. I seriously miss the whirly balls from Spectromagic those along with the finale were the best part of Spectromagic.PTN is gorgeous. It's my favorite parade, somehow it topped Spectro for me. But as others are saying, if WDW does get a new nighttime parade (and I hope it does because MSEP honestly needs to just die and rest in peace) it should take cue from SpectroMagic. Like it can still be called Paint The Night but just be completely different in execution like with other attractions that share the same name like Tower of Terror and Space Mountain
The whirly balls are in Paint The Night~ They're in the finale unit with the Fantasia float and Donald, Goofy and Minnie ride them.I hope the next nighttime parade at WDW might finally arrive in 2021 with more floats. Those are different from the ones in SpectroThe whirly balls are in Paint The Night~ They're in the finale unit with the Fantasia float and Donald, Goofy and Minnie ride them.
They aren't like the Ines in Spectromagic. The Ines at PTN are more slower and not as fast. The whirly balls are in Paint The Night~ They're in the finale unit with the Fantasia float and Donald, Goofy and Minnie ride them.
