Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

Won't they just run the Halloween then Xmas parades every night (instead of just on the Party nights)?

Highly doubtful. They sell these exclusive parades as a big reason to go to the party. So I highly doubt it.

The only one I could see them doing would be the Christmas Parade, as it runs daily after the Christmas Parties end, so it can be seen outside he party. But I can't see them doing that with Boo to You!

Having had some time to process this, I simply can't fathom why they allowed it to be announced the way that they did. It's obvious that there is *something* in the pipeline for nighttime MK entertainment, as the insiders here who have been the most in-the-loop have mentioned. If, for some reason, they weren't able to say specifically what's coming, there's no reason they couldn't say "stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for information on the exciting next chapter for the Magic Kingdom's nighttime entertainment!"

I mean, really, there's only 3 options:
1. Running an already-existing parade (FoF @ night, Fantilusion, PTN, etc)
2. Getting an all-new parade
3. Getting nothing.

The insiders here have ruled out #3, and the way things leak out I think that #2 is improbable. So, we're likely getting an existing parade.

What's the matter with saying "Get ready to experience the magical Festival of Fantasy in a whole new light! You'll love how this mobile celebration sparkles, shimmers, and shines its way down Main Street, USA to end your day at the Magic Kingdom" or even something vague like "We can't wait to tell you how we plan to 'light the night' on Main Street, USA with a new spectacle in 2017! Stay tuned."

Ugh. To be a media company, they certainly are -poor at communicating things effectively and strategically with, you know, the media.

How much do you want to bet that MSEP gets the upgrades it SHOULD have gotten years ago at WDW before it starts up again at DL. Meantime back at WDW which will probably NEVER see another night time electrical parade, Just another cut in the #YearOfAMillionCuts
Knowing that Disneyland also updated MSEP back in 2009. I think it differently will be in much better shape unlike it was at WDW. I remember the parade still looked good at DCA before moving to WDW.

Disney's Fantillusion was composed/arranged by Bruce Healey (also composed Fantasmic! at Disneyland and Walt Disney World), one of my personal favorite composers. Fantillusion as a whole is one of my favorites.
No wonder the music sounded so good. I really loved the music heard during the show-stop with Mickey and the Princess sections. Especially since it was composed by an orchestra.

I also moved away from Florida in 1994 and didn't return until 2002. Still didn't return to Disney for the first time in 20 years until 2013 when MSEP was in use. Never experienced Spectromagic. I'll look for a video and watch it. I'm sure it's good.
Be sure to look at the ones taken from the early 90's.

So Spectro will be reopening on Oct 9th 2016 then? Cause that's what the page says. o_O I don't think so.
I remember years ago way before PTN was made. The MSEP page had a section that was supposed to be a new electrical parade and mentioned the new floats were The Princess And The Frog and Tangled at the time before it got removed. I remember it lasted for about two and half months.

There was this artwork that appeared not to long ago... One would assume its for TDLs Dreamlights, and yes it has some Dreamlights floats in it, but WDW is also no stranger to reusing TDL floats mixed in with new floats...
I think that might also be a plan for the updated Nemo floats.

Have they had TDL floats before FoF because the way you've written it it seems they've done it multiple times.

And where did this atwork come from. I'm relatively new to this but it doesn't look like something you'd see from Disney but maybe I'm wrong.
I remember seeing this image a few months ago on a different thread.

I'm also shocked at the fact tons of people seem to think this version of MSEP is actually "ours". They have no idea it's the Disneyland original which is really bizarre to me
This might be due to alot of tourists visiting WDW most of the time. I remember a few guests weren't even aware that Disneyland was the first park.

Honestly, I think we're just getting a seasonal projection show.... both Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom are now primed for projections, and the cost of running these is considerably less than a parade.

With Osborne gone, and now MSEP, there is a major dent in the Christmas offerings at WDW, even more so than the pre lights of winter days.

I still think PTN will end up coming to WDW after all next year. The blog did say "At This Time" there are no plans to bring PTN to WDW. They didn't say it's never coming.
