Wow...keep up the great job policing the threads and telling people when their discussion is useless. Feel free to get the last word, I'm done with this.

I don't see MSEP having any less a chance of coming back than something like SoaT, which was also a surprise. Again, I'm actually not a big fan and think the park deserves something new and unique. But I also found it interesting that DL isn't marketing this as the end.
Well at least you aren't like mnelson3 who always makes new posts on this thread to keep it alive until a future announcement that could happen many years from now.

Ok, maybe it's just me but I thought the video that was shown at the parks talk at D23 made it pretty clear that MSEP was not coming back. Wasn't it in some warehouse with stuff from old rides long gone? I took it as it's retired and not coming back just like 2000 leagues under the sea...
That commercial was also made for Disneyland.

All this proves is that Disney cares a little bit about providing decent entertainment, even in less than ideal weather. Otherwise Guests would have had to suffer watching the "Rainy Day Cavalcade."
I like Tokyo's version where they hold a nighttime parade on nights when Dreamlights can't run during the rainy days so they created an alternative called "Nightfall Glow" which is entertaining and better than the Rainy Day Cavalcade.

Why WDW has not invested in a rain parade that is actually worth watching is beyond me. If any park in the world should have one, it should be the one that gets the most rain.

OK. I just don't see the difference if there's a night parade 100 yards away. In many ways, I just view DLR as one big resort.

Yeah I get that. The DCA run of that parade was just unfortunate, though, especially because they had to alter its name. They only did it because DCA was under-performing in terms of overall business and they knew it would get people in the door and have them stay until night.

I actually think he does a great service for these boards by being "keeper of insider info". These insiders don't always have a change to respond to every thread so it's nice to have someone who keeps track of this information and posts it when necessary.

Yes he does. I appreciate that. But he also doesn't need to play forum police. He's not wrong in what he's saying but I get why people take offense to it.

Well the MSEP ends in 4 days. Lets hope it's gonna be gone forever this time but the weird thing is they didn't even say anything about it "glowing away forever"

How is it that this thread is still alive? The parade is not coming back. I don't know if it will be destroyed. But it certainly needs to have glowed away forever in both parks now. It is a 1972 parade in a 2017 world. When it left WDW (1991) and DL (1996) the first time, that should have done it. The absurdity and cheapness that has resurrected this more times than the average soap opera character is beyond crazy. The parade was great in the 70s and 80s. It is plain embarrassing in the 21st century where paraded like PtN and Dreamlights just show how badly dated it is.
