Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

I don't want a parade that is filled with pop music at WDW.

Because Move It! Shake It! performing multiple times per day in the heart of the Magic Kingdom is like an afternoon tea party set to Mozart's Seventh Symphony? ;)

At 6:06 of this video it gets really classy while the tea sandwiches get passed... "What's up Magic Kingdom?!? Guys you hear me, I said HEY MAGIC KINGDOM?!?!... Keep sendin' those Selfies in!"

But somehow Paint The Night wouldn't work in this exact same space? As someone who has seen the parade entertainment at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, that argument against Paint The Night has always baffled me.

Move It Shake It Whatever it's called this Week isn't exactly the best fit for a turn of the century street either.

It could be done a lot sooner if needed. Designs to rolling on tarmac time could be six to eight months if funded. But as of now it isn't.

Would this likely be a Steve Davison project? lol. Either way I'd be shocked if TDO didn't attempt to reuse some Dreamlights floats from TDL. They did for FOF.

I don't know if this means anything or not, but in the comments section on the article about "Happily Ever After," a user commented about hoping for a new night parade, and the blogger responded by saying "Keep your eye on the blog for future sneak peeks at what our amazing team has been creating."

Part of me feels like thats just their clever way of saying they don't know

And yet I can't think of any parade ever offered in any Disney Castle park from 1955 to 2017 that fits thematically with circa 1905 Marceline, Missouri. (The closest may be the "State Fair" parade at Disneyland in 1987, although not all the floats stuck to the 1900's period theme)

With the exception of a few floats themed to "Americana" in a handful of the dozens of parades to roll down Main Street USA, or a marching band that does a Sousa number before crashing into the latest pop song, no complete parade has themed nicely to that 1905 environment.

Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 with a parade of mini-skirted and bell-bottomed hipsters in all their polyester glory.

But if it's good enough for Roy Disney and Card Walker, it's good enough for me! :D

Interesting. But as much as I'd love a huge surprise I highly doubt that would happen. Very unlikely and impossible that our insiders would not be aware of a new parade build.

I could be way off on this thinking but I feel as though TDO was heavily relying on RoL pulling in guests from MK at night to basically cause a overlook of no nighttime parade. Well from what it sounds like RoL may not interest a lot of guests or keep guests wanting to see it more than once. If that thinking is true and most guests still continue to spend their evenings at MK, could that potentially push TDO to fast track a nighttime parade?

Would RoL even be able to accommodate the number of guests per night who would have been watching a night parade in the MK?

They never should have put 'm in! They should of had an answer before they gave MSEP's end date! Just like they did with CTM and Wishes. Unless TDA just told TDO we need MSEP NOW!?

As far ROL, baring nightly mishaps(Please God, No!)Even the ROL lanterns wont take MK numbers down. Nightly ROL mishaps and restarts might not get AK's numbers up quick. Esp. now if HEA is a grand slam. The only thing that might bring them down is still no night parade unless everyone forgets about that after May 12th. But if TDO is really hung up on MK numbers, why is HEA coming? If they want MK's down, shouldn't they do "The Best show since ROE" in Epcot? Or a OLC or even DL style F! in DHS?

As far as MISI, the times are still at 7PM. With us getting closer to DST, if those don't get later, i wouldn't call it a substitute.
