Paging Mr. Morrow...

You do hear him paged on the TTA, and he may still be at innoventions in future world of EPCOT. He even appeared on the Disney channel a few times to talk about what was happening there. But I think he's been removed.

I actually know two Tom Morrow's. One goes by Tommy and the other goes by Thomas, but I call them both Tom

Haha, i always preffered better how they'd page "Egroeg Sacul" in the Star Tours Ride. It took me a bit (and this really cheezy interactive cd i got ages ago) to figure out that it was "George Lucas" spelt backwards.

since it's all (sooomewhat) on the topic (esque)...does anybody know of any other comic "pagings" or whatnot that they'd do in rides at Disney? It's like 11:14 here in Florida time, and i'm just too shot to think if there are any more :snore:

edit: haha, and for the record, there is nothing wrong with interesting names... I mean, my name is "Jesus"...trust me, to the non-hispanic populous of an elementary and middle school that i had to grow up in, the choices for name calling were eeeeendless. But i played along, never anything TOO damaging. Then again, i was always taller then all the other kids? haha, they knew what'd happen if they picked on me too much *intimidating look*

LOL sometimes you have to wonder what people are smoking when they are naming kids. :) I've known a Mason Dixon, a Summer Day, and a Michael Hunt...I mean, it's clever and all, but a name is for the rest of your life.

The new trend though is the ridiculous mis-spellings. I won't list any for fear of offending, but I bet some of these poor kids can't learn to spell their names until high school. ;)

well since we are on the topic... i work with someone named tom morrow lol and when i came back last week i told him he was being paged all week in the magic kingdom.

also once when i was on my way to the magic kingdom i noticed a family on the bus and the kids had name tags on (2 of which were twins) i noticed one boy was named daniel case (nothing odd) and then i looked at the others just out of pure curiousity and his name was Justin Case lol ah i'll never forget that

Now THAT is funny.

Sad a bit, if you take it a certain way, kind of like referring to Prince William and Prince Harry as the "heir and the spare", LOL. Like the poor kid was always destined to be the supporting act. ;)

My mom and her best friend were pregnant at the same time, and my mom wanted to name my sister Strawberry (our last name is Field) and her friend wanted to name her daughter Penny (her last name is Lane.)
Just... too silly. At least Penny is actually a name though. My mom isn't crazy, I swear, it was the 70s.

I did go to school with a Scott Free, he was cool.

Not really a strange pairing of first and last names, but I've had to endure a lifetime of "Steve Miller Band" jokes. I usually just force a laugh and go on with my day.

I also had to deal with more than my fair share of Urkel jokes in elementary school. I'm white!

It may not be as funny as some others, but I know a Rob Birt. His first mane isn't Robert, just Rob...

I saw him at Innoventions last February, after that I can't say.
