Packing "strange" things.

When you are packing for your trips, do you pack anything you would consider strange to bring to a major resort?
Personally, my "strange" item is toilet paper.
I just can't stand staying someplace for a week that has cheap toilet paper. You know the kind, that you can almost see through if you look through it. I've gotten in the habit of sticking a roll of my own in my suitcase before I travel.

Ummmmm.....no nothing is coming to mind. I think the amount of crap I bit some would think is strange. :) My husband always complains about the TP - very sensitive tushie. :)

OMG! Toilet paper is the #1 toiletry item on my list! After my 9 night Disneymoon a few years ago, I vowed to always bring our own TP as the stuff in the room was the worst I've ever used! Even the TP in the parks is better!!

I bring some weird stuff...yep.
Like this...

Custom made WDW themed decorations for the hotel room window, custom sized to fit in said window.
Suction cups to attach said decor.
A assortment of small PVC poseable Disney character figures to line up on the window ledge.

It is quite a scene...and looks great.
I have been doing this for about 8 years now..every trip.
The EPCOT 25th themed decor i did for the room window in 2007 looked exspecially nice.

Yeah ..i know, i am a freak...but it just does not seem right not decorating that big window when i first get settled in a room on property!

I like to use one of those scrubbie bath things made of net instead of a washcloth, so I bring one of those and a suction cup hook to hang it up to dry in the shower, and also a Ziploc bag to bring it home in case it's still damp.

I pack a ziplock with antibacterial wipes for wiping down the TV remote/ interior bathroom door handles, telephone, etc. No sense in getting a nasty cold (or worse) with your vacation.
I also pack a binder clip (office clip) for clamping the drapes shut in case I wish to sleep in (Sis with 2 small kids does this so she can wake up after 5am:).
I am also a fan of packing my Kashi cereal & buying milk in the small packages to stash in the room's fridge. Why not save a few bucks & eat a nicer TS lunch & dinner (plus I can get my hair less Bride of Frankenstein-esque while I eat).
DH always likes for me to pack a small container of Altoids- the peppermint oil helps to settle an upset stomach & they freshen the breath after lunch.
