Packing "strange" things.

When you are packing for your trips, do you pack anything you would consider strange to bring to a major resort?
Personally, my "strange" item is toilet paper.
I just can't stand staying someplace for a week that has cheap toilet paper. You know the kind, that you can almost see through if you look through it. I've gotten in the habit of sticking a roll of my own in my suitcase before I travel.

I don't know if it's strange but I too bring zip lock bags, some cereal, crackers and such. Daughter fills her back pack with her favorite plushy toys and her blankie. She has one stuffed cat that has gone on every trip so we can never leave without "meow meow". I do bring some cleaning wipes as after working in a hotel for 3+ years I know what to look for so just in case we have a housekeeping emergency.

I am the SAME way with white noise! I have an app on my phone for it because anytime we travel, the rooms are too quiet! Lol
Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one! We have a pretty loud humidifier that runs every night at home- so our last trip, despite being EXHAUSTED, I had trouble falling asleep and blocking out random noises! Best little clearance find ever!

I bring a roll of trash bags, not the big black ones, but the smaller white ones. I keep them in my backpack and they come in quite handy for storing wet ponchos, keeping things dry when it rains, keeping my backpack/camera bag in it on wet rides, if our clothes get wet we usually have a spare and keep the damp clothes from getting everything in our bag soaked. Also they come in handy for packing dirty clothes separate from clean clothes and putting shoes in so all the crap that is stuck to the soles doesn't come in contact with our stuff. I also bring zip lock baggies to keep a small first aid kit, tissues, hand sanitizer, tide to go stick, dental floss sticks, and other small items together in my backpack so they can be found easier.

Didn't think that was strange! I bring a different one for almost everyday of my trip! the strange thing would be my nice soft covered weights.(1 set goes) and weighted gloves. I am bringing KIND bars this trip.

Maybe not "strange", but a little unusual. I am bringing my yoga mat on my next trip. :)

Since someone else brought up 2 bottles of wine, we bring a box (3L) of Fish Eye Pino Grigio and a bottle of brandy.

After losing too many hooks and hurting too many fish, if I'm going to rent a "cane pole" for a few hours, I bring better hooks and needlenose pliers.

No. I take typical stuff when I travel.

But the toilet paper idea is not a bad one!!

A few days into our first WDW trip my wife said, if we come back I'm going to be sure to bring our own toilet paper. ( Slight irritation problem ;) ;) ) I laughed and said to myself, yeah you are going to remember THAT. Sure enough, trip 2 was in the planning and she said, be sure to pack a couple of rolls in the bag, remember last time ? So it's always high up on our WDW packing list. :)
Zip lock baggies also a must, always find a use. Include also - Duct tape, magic markers.
