I heard that the new restaurant at the Contemporary is going to serve nothing but office supplies encased in Jello.

In the near future, we have Toy Story Mania and American Idol: Live coming to the newly re-named Disney's Hollywood Studios. That's kind of it for currently announced projects, especially since there's absolutely nothing going on at the Contemporary. There certainly isn't a new DVC resort being built there, and it definitley won't be called "Kingdom Tower." In fact, you may just want to face the Seven Seas Lagoon the entire time that you're on the monorail, just to avoid seeing the nothingness that's going on at the Contemporary. :lookaroun

*waves hand*
This is not the hotel you're looking for. Move along.

In other news, there are rumors of a small fifth park located near Disney's Animal Kingdom, and named "Disney's Night Kingdom." It would cost several hundred dollars per person, and would feature up-close, personal encounters with nocturnal animals.

This is a quote from what my dad just told me about 5 seconds ago "I supposedly heard that they'll be be making announcements on Apr. 22 about future events." He was also talking about a Space Mountain Renovation during our Dec. '07 trip:shrug::shrug:

Talk about a rumor...announcing things like this 99 years in advance is taking the concept of "anticipation being half the fun" to a whole new level...:D

You might want to take a look at this thread:

Nothing mentioned in it is official but it might give you an idea of some of the things that could be in the works for WDW's 40th.
