Yokai (and Yzma mentioned above) were both out for Villains Nite, and I don't care about him (and she was the terrifying Paris version so I'm just grateful we didn't get their Jessica too). But Judge Doom is a fun addition. Waiting to see who else gets announced.

I'm personally hoping we get the face Queen of Hearts that was at Pride Nite that WDW has had previously. (Actually, I think the live action Red Queen would be even more fun. And if they had the Red Queen and White Queen together, I might collapse from joy. lol)

In a new video, Disneyland is teasing 2 new Villains at Oogie Boogie Bash.

Oh my God! It’s DIIIIIIIIIIP! LOL! Classic! Seriously though, I can’t believe we’re getting Judge Doom! Amazing! I bet the people of Florida are jealous right now. No offense, people of Florida.

Madam Mim has taken over Ernesto’s spot

This makes sense; Ernesto regularly impacted the walkway into Avengers Campus last year. I hope this means they use the Plaza de la Familia somehow for him, or if that's not enough space then maybe they'll stick him where Mim was in the Hyperion queue.
Plaza/Mirabel's or puppet Miguel's meet spot is a great idea for Ernesto thematically.

Alternately, they could give him the backlot stage as that has pretty good queue space, assuming they don't give it back to LA Cruella. Or maybe they'll put Judge Doom there. Though i suppose he could have the pier spot where Kingdom Hearts characters were last year. or as suggested Mim's spot from last year.

Presume Lotso is taking Sid's spot at Pixar Pier.

The trail/stage spots that were already up that I saw were Mim in the Ernesto spot, Evil Queen (I think? There's a potion/transformation spell book there) in Facilier's spot by the pier from last year, and Bruno's spot in the same place as last year.

Judge Doom at Disneyland for this event is pure win.
Wonderful to have him there, what a great idea for a character appearance choice!
Disneyland really is the best, and has the upper hand when it comes to unusual and fun character appearances.

Cannot wait to see how he interacts with Guests.
I really liked what they did for Sid a few years ago…that was a lot of fun to see.
Hopefully Doom has a few appropriately themed ‘props’ of his own.

As I big fan of the somewhat ‘forgotten’ Roger Rabbit franchise, this news is just wonderful for me.

I’m jealous because we’re going next month and there is no way to get into this thing. Grrrrr. Oh well. Maybe we’ll go to Knott’s Scary Farm instead.

I'm told that there's a (slim but nevertheless possible) chance that walkup tickets may be available. You being a resort guest should hopefully help you.

If not, Scary Farm is a FABULOUS Halloween event, one of the best in the entire country, and if you like Haunt events at all it's a great time. And it's the 50th, so they'll really be on their game.

This may sound like a silly question, but is the Oogie Boogie Bash themed merchandise only available during the party?

Is it like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party/Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World, where they bring the merchandise out ready for the party starting, and then pack it away at the end of the night until the next party?

I know that general Halloween/Nightmare Before Christmas Merchandise is available in various locations at the moment, but I am asking about the specific party themed merchandise - for example, you won't be able to buy an Oogie Boogie Bash t-shirt or pin etc., until the party starts - is that correct?
