The Mouse House

View attachment 604406

Head to the hottest night club that hosts the most popular celebrities in town on Sunset Blvd: The Mouse House. This new high-speed E-Ticket dark ride takes guests through an abandoned 1920's nightclub that is haunted with the ghosts of fictional celebrities from that time period. That glitz and glam of Hollywood night life combines with the thrill and scariness of ghost lore in this brand new attraction opening at in Disney-MGM Studios in 1994.
This is pretty intriguing! It would bounce off the Hollywood Tower Hotel, however in other ways it feels like Tower of Terror captured that ghostly Hollywood aspect efficiently, I would be curious how another with a similar story beat would be received. Nevertheless - neat concept!

It will features attractions, shows, restaurants and shops themed to Tim Burton's Batman films. The guests will actually apart in DC Comics' Batman comics. I would love for this to be the case, but at the same time part of me feels that super hero lands will eventually suffer from staleness, as a new director and new vision is shaped leaving the theme park a timepiece rather than the current popular thing.

1995 - Deluxe Accommodations
BW1995Constr.png

The BoardWalk is one of my favorite resorts on property, and while the themes are great, the location also factors as to why I enjoy it so much. But rather enhance what is there already, let's try something new. As the construction was about to begin, Disney executives got cold feet and came to you imagineers for a new idea...

-Challenge-
Design a new deluxe resort that will open instead of Disney's BoardWalk

Bonus
-Post a 'Proposal' in the
Dream Wedding thread on any daily topic!

-Rules-

You may use between 1 and 3 sentences and up to 1 image. The deadline is Sunday December 5th at 9:00 PM EST. Look for feedback and results no later than 10:00 PM EST that night, along with the next prompt.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please!

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it (generally) realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?

Good luck everyone! If you have questions, please feel free to ask! Enjoy!

Coming soon to Walt Disney World in 1995 is a new deluxe resort situated right on the ocean. This hotel will give guests the experience of staying in Venice, with several rooms having views of the canals (which occasionally have gondolas traveling on them). There will also be multiple table service (and quick service) restaurants as well as a themed pool with a water slide.

Ponce de León Resort
Fort-Charles.jpg
In place of the BoardWalk Resort sits the Ponce de León Resort, themed around an old Spanish coastal port that celebrates Florida's maritime history and piracy. The resort is made up of a large 18th century fort split into several wings, named after famous pirates like Francis Drake, Henry Jennings, and Robert Searies; additional townhouses that are en suites; and unique vacation experiences within replicas of galleons from the Golden Age of Piracy. Other features include two swimming pools based around a treasure horde and a mermaid lagoon, live music in the Community Hall, and restaurants including The Landing Party and the pub Bilgewater.

Disney's Grecian Village Resort

Disney's Grecian Village Resort would present a sprawling Greek seaside village connected to a megaron that serves as the resort check-in, and houses a restaurant themed to the heroes of Greek legend. Besides the three main hotel wings and personal villas that can be found guised as old town houses, resort amenities would include; but not be limited to, an amphitheater, two pools themed to a ruined Poseidon's temple and a shipwrecked galley, an Agora, a waterfront restaurant adorned with old gear used by fishers and sponge divers, and a taverna set in a repurposed stable appropriately nearby the Poseidon's Ruins pool. This resort would not only offer a place for the characters of 1997's Hercules a home, but also is sure to be popular with the many Greek communities in Florida.

Overall this is a pretty neat hotel concept - this would be a step up in my opinion from the Art of Animation as it focuses on the core original characters - nice job!

Ooh this would be very nice on the waterfront and a seamless transition from the International Gateway - I almost which there was a connection to the Italy Pavilion behind World Showcase from the resort as a private entrance but nevertheless great concept

This would be an intriguing concept for a hotel - especially for our Pinball community here on the forum. It brings the life and entertainment of the Boardwalk to the Crescent Lake promenade as well.

This is such a unique concept! It's Floridian themed with a cultural impact to fit the transition to World Showcase. Really like this.

This would be very eclectic and intriguing to meander, I think it would have been easier to pick one of these cultures to represent for the resort but overall I think it would again be a nice transition to World Showcase.
