Port Mysterious
Modelled after a dark, seedy, urban English port designed with a Sherlock holmes-esque Victorian style despite taking place in vaguely present day (though the exact time period is purposefully vague and undefined like in a Series if Unfortunate Events as if Port Mysterious is separate from time) with everpresent (artificial) fog, burnt orange and purple brick buildings, and all sorts of international explorer ships docked in this land full of odd and unusual details inspired by the arcane, the strange, and the mysterious.
The main draw for the land is The Exploration of the Unusual Arrival: an E-Ticket thrill ride/dark ride hybrid involving a Top Spin swirling guests around an upside down cargo ship full of cursed objects from around the world that has, for unexplained reasons, appeared suddenly out of no where on top of a factory partially crashing through and crushing it (the ride is done similarly to Tomb raider the ride or my Woody ride for the current round of Sywtbai without the simulator elements).
The other main attraction for Port Mysterious is The Symphony of the Strange: a C-Ticket animatronic show (like the Tiki room) where Dr. Otto T. (Who has recently been turned into a chair, but he sees no reason to let that stop the presentation) invites guests into his study so he can show off his collection of weird and fantastical objects and creatures including a candle man made of melting wax, an aquarium full of skeletal fish, a prism that projects beautiful light displays and much more (mostly inspired by unused concepts from the museum of the weird) until a climax where Dr. Otto has to outsmart an evil djin who is attempting revenge.
Guests can eat at the Mysterious Market, a series of outdoor stalls (set up like the Harambe Market at Animal Kingdom) each themed to a different interesting area that has been explored by someone from Port Mysterious such as the Bermuda Triangle or the Oregon Vortex, or they can shop at Tiberious Antiques, a store set up by Dr. Otto and his wife Yuna to sell the strange objects they've discovered as well as Dr. Otto's book (The Port Mysterious Guidebook: An Incomplete Collection of all Known Information on the Unknown) which serves as a guide to finding all the easter eggs and odd hidden details that fill this land.
Port Mysterious is home to three new original Characters: Dr. Otto T. who has dedicated his life to the the scientific study of the paranormal, Yuna Tiberious who enjoys the paranormal as a mystical thing and doesn't seek to explain it like her husband Dr. Otto (Yuna is the host for the E-Ticket), and Captain Pike Yuler who is a young explorer seeking adventure who tells guests stories of his travels as a streetmosphere show by his ship docked in the Port.
Bonus
After dark around Halloween time, the already dark land gets darker as kids (and the easily frightened) are warned to stay away as a new streetmosphere show/haunted house scarezone takes over the land with Jack the Ripper using cursed objects stolen from the Tiberious family to terrorize guests and Captain Pike Yuler tries in vain to stop him AND the Top Spin E-Ticket is given a more intense ride through (more inversions, dimmer lights) and a new ride narration to tie into the Jack the Ripper story.
