The Most Wonderful Time of the Year by @mickeyfan5534
What's crazy is that in just two sentences you were able to capture the magic that encapsulates many of the beloved Rankin-Bass classics that have gone on to define the holidays in American pop culture. The plot is simple yet endearingly classic Christmas with it being easy to follow and enjoyable for all ages. Overall, a rather cherry endeavor reminiscent of holiday specials of old.
This is exactly the vibe I was going for. Rankin-Bass mixed with modern Hallmark with a dash of Direct to Streaming.

Discoveryland at Christmas

The Merry and Bright season at Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris takes on a festive atmosphere fitting into its Vernian Future setting as bronze and gold garland decorates the land, and Space Mountain is given a new overlay to follow Santa Claus on his magical holiday flight. The now classic "Let's Sing Christmas!" also returns again to Videopolis theatre with new costumes for Mickey and Friends alongside their caroling crew inspired by Victorian visions of the future, and most importantly, don't forget to visit Santa Claus in his brand new steampunk workshop and a suit to match!

A Christmas Fantasy (land):
This year in Disneyland Paris, the area of Fantasyland will get a holiday makeover worthy of German and French Christmas celebrations, including several cultural nods to Europe. This event features a holiday overlay of "It's a Small World," a British Christmas tree display in Alice's Curious Labrynth, a new holiday show in the theater, and an epic nighttime transformation of Sleeping Beauty's castle, where the stained glass windows within tell a story about Christmas.

North Pole Land at Six Flags Over Texas
Guests to Six Flags Over Texas during “Holiday in the Park” can travel the North Pole by riding on The Polar Express (normally the Six Flags and Texas Railroad steam locomotives; the only original ride from the 1961 opening of the park) from the Texas Depot to the North Pole Depot with narration by the movie’s Conductor (voiced by Tom Hanks). At the North Pole (which is an overlay of Boomtown land), guests can joyfully experience the following: a ride on Santa’s Sleigh (a re-theme of the Runaway Mine Train), Elves’ Sled (a re-theme of the Mini Mine Train), The Christmas Tree (a re-theme of Gunslinger swings ride), and a Santa Meet and Greet.

[IP note: The movie The Polar Express is owned by Warner Bros. Pictures, which is under the umbrella company Warner Bros. Discovery, which in the U.S. has theme park rights at Six Flags parks.]

Dreamwork’s The Polar Express

Based on the short book written Chris Van Allsburg, The Polar Express follows a down-on-his-luck boy as he embarks on a magical train ride bound for the North Pole on Christmas Eve and discovers newfound joy and hope through the magic of Christmas. While this special is notably shorter, this adaptation seeks to put more emphasis on the magic surrounding the Polar Express itself and the sights of the Christmas wonderland it travels to reach Santa’s town, and to have a more relaxed tone told through an enchanting storybook art style not too dissimilar to what is seen in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The Shrek-themed section of Universal Studios Singapore has been completely Christmas-ified - from the reindeer antlers that Dragon is sporting on Enchanted Airways to the snow that covers the spires of the castle. You can get your picture taken with Ogre Claus, help Shrek and Donkey deliver presents to all of their fairytale friends in a new Christmas-themed 3D show (that temporarily replaces Shrek 4D), bake Christmas cookies with Gingy, and even help Puss in Boots raid the lair of six gigantic geese-a-laying in an overlay of Puss in Boots' Giant Journey that turns "The Twelve Days of Christmas" on its head.

A Hanna-Barbera Christmas Carol
View attachment 686767
As part of a new imitative by the folks at Warner Bros. to make the Hanna-Barbera characters more popular, this quirky adaptation of the beloved Charles Dickens story features five original songs, hilarious jokes, and a cast of beloved Hanna-Barbera characters. Among those featured are Dick Dastardly as Ebenezer Scrooge, Huckleberry Hound as Bob Cratchit, Mildew Wolf as Jacob Marley, Fred Flintstone as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Yogi Bear as the Ghost of Christmas Present, a Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come who pulls down his hood to reveal that he's actually Astro Jetson, Yakky Doodle as Tiny Tim, and Snagglepuss, who serves as the special's narrator.
I really love classic Hanna-Barbera, so I hope that this comes to pass!!

Hershey’s Chocolate Village 🍫

CDFCEF47-DCF5-4EBA-AF6C-C61137BAC7F2.jpeg

temporary replacing Hershey’s ChocolateTown at Hersheyland is Hershey’s Chocolatevillage, and the difference is that everything in the village is made of (or looks like) chocolate instead of brick, from the chocolate bar walls., wafer roofs, and the powdered sugar on top of them as snow, to make almost every building become a chocolate gingerbread house. Meanwhile, Candymonium will have an very small overlay to its coaster trains to make them chocolate themed, and new mini attractions will also be incorporated, including a dreidel game for chocolate coins, a chocolate reindeer scavenger hunt, a Santa meet and greet under a large white Christmas tree with chocolate ornaments, and another smaller chocolate wishing tree to write down and hang new year’s resolutions.

World of Christmas Markets at Epcot World Showcase

Based on European Christmas markets, between the Food & Wine Festival and the Festival of the Arts, smaller countries with booths will feature an authentic holiday bite, drink, and ornament for purchase; while larger established countries will have similar offerings like struffoli in Italy and stollen in Germany, but wider selections.

One parade will unite them all, but each will feature unique traditions; for example, the American Experience will be like a small town Main Street Christmas fair with artisan craft booths and various foods, and soon after sundown each night, the “mayor” will come out to make a speech and pick a guest to push the button to light the community tree.

Winter Minion-land
minion-park-decorations-300x210.jpg
The Minions have gotten the whole of Minion Park at Universal Studios Japan in the Christmas, in their own wacky way. More than just decorating the neighborhood and having holiday-themed food and merchandise, as Freeze Ray Sliders play Minion carols as riders glide along in an open slider, and the park’s own Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem gets a holiday overlay where guests get turned into Minions to help Gru and the girls after the town’s annual Christmas fair gets canceled.
