Reading this thread, I wonder...why not "bring back" all of these attractions in a WDW Museum type of exhibition? I'm thinking of a stand-alone thing, outside of any park, with actual props, scale models and descriptions of bygone attractions. At the end, you could have a theater playing a film with footage of all these old rides and shows.

I know I'm not the first to think of this idea. The webmaster at another Disney site has written about the possibility of transforming the old Preview Center into something like this. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm thinking it would be very popular, and it would be a nice tip of the hat to nostalgia, which is what WDW (or MK, at least) is supposedly all about.

Is it going somewhere? I thought Walt asked that to be the one ride that never got removed!

i really hope that doesnt go i love it, and im sure walt asked that so taking it away would be really disrespectful.

i think there problem is that it doesnt fit in with its surrounding so maybe it could be moved to a more appropiate area or they just accept that its there and its an amazing ride :D

Well I can't pick just one, but World of Transportation, Captain EO, Horizons, Mr. Toad and the original Spaceship Earth. (Why did they have to go and ruin it, anyways??)

It is close between AE and the Skyway, but I have to go with AE. I have a lot of good memories from that attraction. It is such a shame that it was replaced with a piece of crap.

Totally Agree w/ you on AE!!! A much missed attraction from my childhood. I also say bring back Horizons and Dream Flight!

Excellent idea. However most of the props and such from the old rides have long been destroyed or sold off.
