It is in the spirit of Grand Ave.. The park is transforming from a "working studio" into a theme park designed around an idealized Disneyesque Hollywood.
Sort of a Tomorrowland or Adventureland but based on the Hollywood (LA) that never was and always will be.

It's not. But then again, I still can't see this attraction being too long for this world. Even with all of the thematic updates around the park to RnRC and Muppet Courtyard and areas that don't include the expansions, OMD and VOTLM and LB and DJ still all stand out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the park. No amount of theme-ing will ever truly hide the fact that they're all gigantic soundstages. How long until they just demo the whole area?

I'm actually happy that Walt's name is on that theater and that the film about his life is on the marquee. And that the marquee is so well-done (although it'd be nice if TDO would dress up the rest of the building's exterior a bit).

I am surprised, I thought any attempt to put Marvel characters on the same level as Walt would not sit well with you.

They might still do something once the remainder of Sound stage 4 is gone. I can at least see a repaint like RNRC being done.

It's certainly more informative and easier to see than the previous signage. All those folding floor marquees were... annoying.

I like it fine I guess. I thought the old sign was a little gaudy (possibly a poor word choice?) but this new one is too small. The way its set up implies they'll have a character meet and various previews here frequently, and can change them out frequently too. The way that is set up I rather like (it would be neat if they could cycle the movies and previews but whatever).

Oh, it doesn't. But the fact that One Man's Dream (aka Walt Disney Presents) is still there in some capacity is at least some comfort. Given the mindset at the Robert Iger Company, I'll take what I can get.
