Its all about priorities.
The thought comes to mind, and it builds. Your antisipation grows to a fever pitch and you ask the family, if they want to. They never seem to say no. You take the time and go online, you look for your resort, or you decided to forgo that one for something different. You pick the new one and look up reviews at WDWMagic.com, you like what you read but want more info and hit other website with pictures and reviews from non Mouse addicted "regular" Joe's and make your decision. You go for the new resort.
You just get the feeling again, that feeling of something new at the World, and you feel like its the first time over again, that first trip, that first high you keep trying to chase.
You make your reservations. You read up about O'Hana, about how everyone raves about it but you never have been there and you're lucky to get a ADR for the place on your second night.
Again, that feeling...
You get ready to board the plane, and yeah, it sucks you're stuck in the back in coach, you might not get an overhead compartment for your bag of Disney Tee's and boxers, but you're going to Disney, it don't seem as bad, you don't push, you don't rush, you're in the Disney Zone, 2 hours from now, all is good in the world.
You get through the plane ride with the crying babies and old man in front of you who keeps farting the whole flight. You get your bag, you jump on your DME bus, you watch the video again with the poor dubbing.
You dive by the sign, you get on that what seems to always be fresh looking black top road and you take a deep breath, you're there you say to yourself. You look at your family, your wife smiles, your daughter rolls her eyes, and your son is trying to look up the young ladys skirt two rows back. You tell your daughter with a mild smirk, " Come on", and promptly yank on the hair of your son who begins to sit forward and asks if we are there yet.
Checking to your resort, the feeling of the bad of the world escapes you like smoke in the wind. You ask your family if they are hungry and they never are, they just want to go to a park, Magic Kingdom they conspire, so you get ready for the day, and then you walk to the Transportation and Ticket center to take the boat over. You get to that point where the Monorail is to your right, the Poly is to your left, and in front of you is the Magic Kingdom in the distance, and you can see Cinderella's Castle.
You take a deep breath, smile and say to your son, " Hey buddy, NOW we are there yet..."
