It's been pretty civil for a change. That's a good thing.Nobody has been banned from this thread..yet.
Common sense is also living within your means but who ever does that? It's easier making excuses.
I think its just fatigue at this point. I can honestly say though, that this thread and the opinions of many posters here have certainly made me think twice and at least consider another opinion then I was considering. It's been pretty civil for a change. That's a good thing.
Now that I've taken my trip people screaming at me that WDW should be shut down doesn't make my blood boil as it used too. I stay off cruise critic and other cruise forums.....I just can't right now. My trip to WDW last month was my first vacation in 10 years that didn't involve getting on a ship. I miss it a lot.I think its just fatigue at this point. I was to set sail in October for my first DCL vacation, and I'm pretty crushed we can't. I'll go to a park for a day later this week for quick 1 day trip, but its not going to be the same. Now that I've taken my trip people screaming at me that WDW should be shut down doesn't make my blood boil as it used too. Governor DeSantis of FL has extended the eviction ban again. It has now been extended to Oct 1. This will surely assist the many impacted that cannot meet their monthly rent or mortgage payments.

Where? I see a food bank giving out food every Friday (admittedly early since I drive by around 1130am) and it has a lot of people...but not 4.5hrs worth of peopleA local food bank is giving free food bags to furloughed Disney cast members. The line of cars stretched two miles and the wait was 4 1/2 hours.
Next August out of Copenhagen for us. I'm hoping for a three or four-day cruise before then. I'm going to make a contingency plan for a land trip through Europe if it falls through, but the thought of traveling by train isn't that appealing. We should’ve set sail 2 weeks on Saturday. If anything this year has taught us is have a back up plan. We’ve lost a cruise, Orlando, a very kind comp stay at AKL, a London trip, a Six Flags style trip and we’re desperately hoping our 3rd attempt at a DLP trip will pan out. But as I’ve said before we have our health and our jobs.Next August out of Copenhagen for us. I'm hoping for a three or four-day cruise before then. I can't imagine it was very easy living on Disney wages before the pandemic. When a states largest employer pays not much more than minimum wage in most states it's going to be a problem.A local food bank is giving free food bags to furloughed Disney cast members. I wouldn't complain, but It would definitely be an adventure. I'm not the most skilled at navigating public transportation. If anything this year has told us is have a back up plan. I would say European train travel could be a pleasant surprise depending on the route.
If you’ve a phone that’ll have offline translating that would be a bonus. But to be honest from my limited travelling stations tend to have English and some English speaking staff. Certainly ticket machines are multi lingual. Better than Japan!I wouldn't complain, but It would definitely be an adventure. I'm not the most skilled at navigating public transportation.
