Ollie Johnston, the last of Walt Disney's nine old men passed away today.
He brought life to such characters as Smee from Peter Pan, and Baloo the Bear in Jungle Book.

As cartoon brew put it, "the end of an era."

I was just wondering about him today... I don't know what compelled me to rewatch Snow White for the first time in about 10 years today, but I found myself appreciating his and the animators' work even more than I ever could have a decade ago.

Rest in peace, Ollie.
