Old TR, Pre-TR, New TR

Ok this is my first time to do a TR so hope you enjoy. Every year I say I am going to do one but then life gets in the way.
We started going to DW every year in 2004 and even went twice one year. Once we went we were hooked. Last year was a big deal because it was our sons first trip and we thought it would be our last year for awhile. :cry: Luckily they came out with the Military Salute program so we get to go again. :sohappy: We went during Columbus Day weekend and stayed in a MK view at the Contemporary. Wow! It was so great and I would love to do it again some day.
My daughter (12 at the time) is a very nervous kid when it comes to new things so I was really worried about my son (3 at the time) and the plane ride, characters, rides, etc. I had no reason to worry. He loved everything and was never afraid. :sohappy: I was so proud of him.
We did MNSSHP, rode rides, ate good food and shopped until we were broke. :lol: If someone can explain to me how to post pictures I can add some on tonight.

Ok now for my Pre-TR. We are again going during Columbus Day weekend so we leave in just a few days. I am so excited and can hardly wait to get there. :sohappy: We will be staying at POFQ from Oct 8th-13th and going to MNSSHP on the 8th. I am really excited to have the dining plan because we have never done it before. We have the following resv's:
T-Rex (out of pocket) (lunch)
Boatwrights (this one may be cancelled) (dinner)
Coral Reef (lunch)
San Angel Inn (dinner)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Cape May Cafe (dinner)
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
We are going to try and make Fantasmic on the 11th. How hard is this to get into? We could not get the dinner package because I waited to long. :brick:My son really wants to see this. He has been watching it on youtube. I love the fact that he is now a Disney nut like his mom. :lol:

Hope you have a fabulous time on your trip! Looking forward to hearing all about it in your Trip Report.

As for Fantasmic, I would suggest finding seating for the show up to an hour in advance. Our family has rotated members who sit and save seats while others can go and enjoy the rides. This is especially good for the Thrill Seekers in your family because TOT and RRC are right outside the entrance. So good luck!

My name is Sheri :wave:and I am the Disney nut in the family I cried like a baby when the left after our first trip and knew I was hooked. I am the planner for all of our trips and the one who is always on the Disney websites. :D
DH loves Disney also and acts like a big kid the minute we get there. All he wants to do is ride Mission Space over and over again. :hurl:
DD (13) loves Disney but wants to go somewhere else next year. :shrug: Cannot be my kid.
And then there is DS (4) who has become a nut like his mom and ask me everyday if today is the day we leave. :lol: I love it.

:lol: Thanks. No free dining this time but at least I do not have to worry about having money for all the good food. :slurp:
