He has a "mid-Atlantic" Philadelphia Mainline accent...which used to be the one all of the newscasters emulated...and he says I add "Rs" to words with a final a, adding an E sound..such as Marsher, Linder, soder, and drop the final R on others, and making the e an a...Jennifa, Christopha, motha....and remarked that it was typical of most of the Rhode Islanders he met. (He lived in Providence for 5 years, so encountered a few)
