I remember sleeping on those rollers back in jr. high days. What a geek!

I always had high hopes for how the hair would look in the morning then always wanted to cry when it looked EXACTLY like it did when the rollers were in - just without the rollers. NOT a good look!!!!

Yeah, it's not my best work.
As an aside, I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the thought of The Mom jamming to Bowie. I think it's freaking me out a little.

As I've mentioned before, I wasn't born a sedate, middle-aged matron. With a collection of iron skillets.

So I'm thinking of ordering tickets for a MNSCHP while we're there in September as a surprise for my husband.
Any costume ideas (I'm almost afraid to ask....

)?

This entire thread is costume ideas. Ohhhh wait - did you actually want to get into the park?

Actually I've never been - are there restrictions to the costumes?

I'm sure there are, but probably nothing within the realm of what we'd do anyway.

Oh I didn't mean anything crazy or risque - just that I know grownups aren't allowed to wear Disney character costumes normally at the parks - is this allowed at the Halloween party?

I think it is, but no masks or anything. There will be 3 of us so I was thinking maybe the Hitchhiking Ghosts would be fun to do.

here you go
Yes and no.

Disney has a no-costume policy for anyone over 9 in all of its parks at all times of the year. This applies to Disney AND non-Disney characters.

The Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights. A separate ticket is required. Adults and children can wear costumes to this event (although there are some guidelines, like no masks or weapons). So, if you buy tickets to the Halloween Party your family can wear their costumes.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like we'd be OK then. I'd love to have my husband dress up as Minnie to my Mickey (he's 6'4 and I'm....well...shorter), but we'd still need a third idea for his sister.
