Power outage perhaps. In any case, I don't think that I would be "here" if I were going through the worst of a major storm.
I was thinking that the shows at Seaworld might be better for children that age.
I'll keep that in mind!!I pray that you remain safe. I have been through several hurricanes, and I know that they can be, at best, a major hassle. Enjoy that countdown and remember that I am only a few hours away from WDW, in case you need a backup sniper.
My kind of guy. I use two chains on my generator because some people have had their generators stolen. We have never had problems with riff-raff during or after storms. I guess the dead zombies in the front yard are warning enough.I'll keep that in mind!!
Last year with Irene my friend's dad actually showed her the best place to position herself in the house with the shotgun should the looters come to call.

The Butler's Pantry - I can see both the front and back doors, but I have good cover.

And you still have power? That's good. Hope it lasts.I think the worst is over!
I read in the paper this morning that our local Power Company just sent 600 workers and vehicles to the northeast.
The Alabama Power guys have gotten quite adept at hurricane damage. They are always going to the hot spots around the nation.Yes actually I was thinking of you. A whole convoy of bucket trucks from Alabama arrived here the other day. We have some from Michigan and Wisconsin too. It's kind of neat to have them all here, even if they couldn't do much today with our 60mph gusts. They'll have their work cut out for them tomorrow - half the state is without power.
