Yeah, there's a mall walkers group here too, but I just much prefer walking at the park. I'm not a fan of malls at all.

I will sometimes go to a mall when traveling and one is near my hotel, but I rarely go otherwise. I really don't shop for clothes or shoes much anymore, as I already have tons of clothes in various sizes. I've reached an age where I'm trying to get rid of stuff, not add more. I pretty much just replace things that have worn out, or do without.

That's too bad. I myself try to dress in the height of today's fashion in order to maintain my well established reputation as a hipster. I ordered the outfit on the right for my next night out on the town. I just know that I'm going to love the new shoes.

That's pretty much the point that I'm at now too.

So.......we got a huge dent into Christmas "shopping" today!
For the past 12 years we have travelled to Florida with the same group of inlaws and outlaws, give or take one or two people, during our February school vaction week. We split the cost of renting a 5 - 7 bedroom pool home, and we just have a great time together. For the past few years, we have bought tickets for things to do there(Hoop-Dee-Do, Cirque, Airboat tours, etc) for the group for Christmas presents. This year is different though, with us going for a month while the others will be coming at staggered times, and there are now a few boyfriend/girlfriend issues that we haven't had to tiptoe around before. So we came up with a plan this morning.
Instead of doing an activity down there, we rented the municipal pool for a Saturday afternoon in January, and we can have up to 25 people there. We'll have them all come back here for pizza or whatever. We figure we'll make it a tropical theme and it will be almost like being down there, (except for the snow). I just have to come up with a title for it and design a suitable announcement. I'm psyched now!

Don't forget to buy everyone a nice ornament. They make for lovely gifts that will remind others of your thoughtfulness for years to come.
