Soooo I renewed 3 of my mom's prescriptions the other day to the tune of $572, only to discover yesterday, that I also running out of a 4th one. I renewed that and just got back from picking it up - $529!!!!! for one prescription. Remind me not to grow old!

That is ridiculous. My father in law has Parkinson's and my in-laws have the same issue - the medications are NECESSARY for him to function and yet insurance doesn't cover them. They are deemed "experimental". Unreal. Have you ever gone directly to the manufacturer website to see if there are discounts available? My husband's Nexium would be $75 a month but there is a "purple pill savings card" on the Nexium website that makes it $25!
