At least until my 17 year old replaces it with something bizarre. His wallpaper always amuses me, but it isn't my beloved Disney stuff.
PS--if you have objections to my using it for my ...ummmm....personal pleasure, I will remove it.

I have other pictures for your personal pleasure too, but I can't post them here. Ahem.
Hey Tramp. Thank you for the compliments. I am simply an amateur photographer, so don't take this for anything more than that. Yes, I use a tripod for most night shots. I have two tripods ... one really short one a few inches tall that I will rest on things (such as garbage cans). When I'm not lazy, I carry around a larger one that opens up about 5 feet high. I also use the timer when I can. I will generally take the same shot multiple times at slightly different settings. Then, when I get back at the Resort, I will hook the camera up to the TV and check out the pics. I have been fooled many times thinking a shot looked great and was clear on a tiny 1.5" screen ... only to view the image later on a computer or TV and see it really wasn’t that good or clear. I guess the best way to sum up is to say ... take LOTS and LOTS of pictures. Eventually, some will turn out pretty good! The clarity of your shots is absolutely beautiful, as good if not better than most film cameras, and hope you could share some tips with me, especially for night pix. And, it's obvious you take the time to compose a nice, neat picture. I've never been able to get use to the digital camera. I have the Canon Powershot S30. The picture you posted in another contest looking into Liberty Square made the viewer look as if he was there. It was THAT good in my opinion.
Do you use a tripod? What are your settings? ISO, shutter speed, etc. I know it must vary from shot to shot but you must have some general rules.
I don't carry a tripod with me on vacation although I've considered buying a very lightweight one. So if you see an old guy moving a garbage can around, it's me using it as a tripod. I set the camera at very slow speeds, prop it up, and then use the timer so I don't have to touch it. Archaic, I know, but it works....most of the time
PS: Thanks for the compliment.
