There is no level that will force him out. However, Steve Case, formerly of AOL, got 23 or 28% "no confidence", and he stepped down soon thereafter.

A 31.2% unofficial "no confidence" vote. Wow. I didn't really think that it would be that high. Was it me, or was Eisner's voice at the end totally devoid of any life/emotion/feeling?

So what was the percentage against Eisner?

Roughly 32% against. I'd say he is on his way out. But I bet Bush or Kerry would be happy with a 68% confidance vote.

Boy Civil, all I did was present the numbers.

I still say Tony Baxter should take over. But this won't happen. We need to hire Evelyn to stalk Mikey E until he quits. Anyone want to throw in some $$ to help.

According to CNBC. This is the numbers I just seen:

43% No vote for Michael Eisner
24% No vote for Geroge Mitchel

This is copied right from CNN's website:

BREAKING NEWS
Disney says 43 percent of shares voted at annual meeting oppose Eisner's re-election to board. Details soon.

The entire meeting lasted about 5 1/2 hours. not too bad.

My math isn't wrong based on the numbers earlier on in the post.
if those numbers are wrong, not my fault.
1,700,718,000 for and 771,600,000 against equal 2,472,318,000 total votes.

771,600,000 divided by 2,472,318,000 equals .312, so my math is correct.
