Reminds me of when MK opened. George started out as a PotC CM but was promoted to a Test Track CM when it opened. Today, he works as a Kilamanjaro Safari guide.

Maybe. I understand Animal Kingdom and can also see the results of what they set out to accomplish.

However, I don't get caught up in the dogma of the delivery to understand that it is the results that are important. Hence, why I don't care about Jungle Book characters in Africa.

So, you don't understand EPCOT?:lookaroun

Dogma? Nothing is "official" or "cannon" of you are using the word in a religious sense. They have every opportunity to do what they want in these parks and it will be "cannon". It's their history to control

There are guidelines that they should follow....But we talked about that. Plaque!

Ugg dogma, I heard that word every single day while I was a child, catholic school, and then again in college when I dated a guy who was all like we can't do this or that or dogma will get us. I seriously don't think the *expletive* knew what the word even meant :brick:.

Sorry back on topic....

You want canon, or dogma? Here it is:

"Disneyland will never be completed...as long as there is imagination left in the world." --Walt Disney

Change is part of the deal, folks.:)

Yeah, but those guys are in Africa right by Tamu Tamu.

I'm pretty sure we have watched a couple of posters around here eyeball rupture at the thought of characters in Epcot, much less in the wrong country.
I actually don't mind it in WS...It works there for me. Furthers the cultural reach of the country being showcased.

Not very orthodox of you. Your ellipsis left out a important part of that quote. Here is the real quote.

"Disneyland will never be completed it will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." Walt Disney

This quote has nothing to do with change; it is about growth.

Busted.

I guess I'm reformed Orthodox, lol.

Honestly, I just went "hmm, there's that Walt quote", googled it, and got what I did. I didn't purposely ellipse, but it was sloppy of me.

What attractions went under the bulldozer during Walt's tenure?
I don't have that info handy, but I'd assume that some things did . . .

That's what I suspected, but wasn't sure. I knew someone would
set me straight.

So there is a case for Reformed Orthodox, lol.

Eeeeee . . . not Marvel in Tomorrowland.
SciFi city? Eeeee again.

How about a Tomorrowland in Tomorrowland? Just go with "The Jetsons" and
take it to crazy. I think the spirit of "a tomorrow of our imagination" is just
fine, and parts of the heaves and fits that they've taken to get there work
for me . . . so just dig in and plus it, Imagineers.
