I plan on staying from Open - Close (Im in for a long day), Whats the earliest i should arrive (I live by UCF). I'd love to make the 40th anniversary rope drop (even if its the same as always)

I'm going to try and get there by 815 at the latest. I'm assuming/hoping the rope drop will be a little different. If I were you I would leave at 730.

Not old, just vintage.
WDWCelebrations has their group breakfast at The Wave at 7:30 am the following morning. I anticipate a lot of groggy faces at that one.

I think I'm suddenly regretting my decision to attend that breakfast. Hopefully I won't end up face down and snoring in my food.

Wish I could be there for the 40th. I truly wouldn't mind if there's nothing huge that goes on; I would just love to be there on that day..

I've been planning on going for almost a year now, and I'm hoping to make it all day! What is a good time to arrive at the TTC to make rope drop? I've never been to the MK rope drop before.

Oh wow, 7am to 12am is going to be one hell of a long day. It's worth it though. :)

On New Years, i get to Magic Kingdom around 9:30am and stay until 2am.

Ill be waking up at 6am, and wont probably go to bed until 2am after the day. It'll be worth it, so i can be sure i dont miss anything for the 40th

That's some good news. A friend of mine is headed there for 5 days around the 1st and there were really odd hours (no EMH for Epcot or MK I believe). This should help.
