these people want nothing more than money... I truly hope they are charged and convicted with filing a false police report.

The performer did nothing wrong, in fact, a few years ago, before we became such a litigious society, this family would probably have been tossed from Disney.

He waited 10 hours for file a complaint? Redness? Where? I didn't see any "redness" on any of the videos.

The kid didn't complain that he'd been hit...the dad noticed it on the video later?

Come on! How stupid do they think we are?

I feel sorry for the poor person who was working in the costume. He probably loves working at Disney as much as we would/do, and now he will probably be fired just because of these white trash media clowns.

No charges have been filed. According to the last update, the OCSO was still investigating. From there it can be either dropped, charges filed or handed over to the State Attorney's office and they can decide if charges are warranted.

At the moment, its not in court and i really don't expect it to get that far.

Yes, I have some friends that were very closely involved in the situation that occured that day.

This implies you think Tigger was lashing out at the kid because he and his family were being obnoxious to characters all day. So in other words, Tigger was not "defending himself from being suffocated" like everyone has been saying?

Clearly in the video you see that Jr. is pulling down on something on Tigger's back. A vipper or maybe even a tug on his back. Even though Tigger hits the kid he clearly was losing his balence and was falling over and the kid was in the way. I can see this guy getting fired but I can also see the guy getting nothing out of it besides being suspend while the investigation going on

Everybody keeps saying that you can "clearly see" what the kid doing. But that's simply not true. I think that's just the power of suggestion. It reminds me of those subliminal backward messages that weren't really there in rock songs. If someone keeps telling you, "clearly they're saying this", then after a while you begin to think you can actually hear it. I wonder how many people could honestly say they actually see the kid doing anything if it hadn't been suggested to them. The only thing that is clearly seen is Tigger slapping the kid.

True, but you should read a book called, "Knock Your Socks Off Service". In it, they address that "old, tired saying" and point out that while the customer may not always be right, the customer is still always....the customer. In other words, whether it seems fair or not, an employee of an organization that is providing a service (which the customer, by the way, is PAYING for), needs to remain professional regardless of how the customer is acting.

Official or not, they are just reports. That's not proof. At this point, it's the word of the CM against that of the family. Unfortunately, the video seems to support the family's claim more than it does the CM's.

I must be out of the loop on this one. What is offensive about biker gloves? (by the way, this is sincere curiosity, not sarcasm... so please don't delete this post. I honestly don't know what the negative connotation is about wearing biker gloves, but numerous people have referred to this.). Also, if biker gloves are offensive, why didn't Disney make him remove the gloves when the family went into the park? Don't they sometimes do that when a guest tries to enter the park wearing offensive attire?
