How much detail are we putting into this? If we go scene by scene, we may have to rethink our playbill presentation method.
I haven't written anything else beyond that yet, I can go super detailed or do it in a shorter form. I'm quite neutral on it, how detailed are you willing to go Outbound?

Pretty good progress today team! I think we've solidified all the positions, we got some good preliminary cast picks, and we've gota good grip on the story.

@AceAstro and @ThatGuyFromFlorida I got two ideas for songs I'm ready to go forward with:
Nitrokoff's Song: First version of the song in Act 1 focuses on his love of his unnamed wife (that turns out to be Constance) and all the good times he had with her, the reprise in Act 2 is similar, but instead about money and opulent goods. I can't think of what music genre this one would be, but it needs to be upright.
Constance's Lullaby: Starts off as a distorted version of the wedding march and becomes a list of Constance's crimes. I want it to be something that can be played both as a depressing song (Hatbox's version) or more of a Disney's villain song (for Constance's version). Just for the sake of clarifying backstory is the same generally as the one on the ride, but Hatbox is the second husband and Nitrokoff is the sixth who wasn't directly murdered by Constance (at least not until the afterlife). And Leota cursed her to Purgatory (G-rated Hell or Hades), before she was murdered by Leota too.

@gam3rprincess hopefully we didn't scare you off with the Dumbo/HM thing. I'd like to see some ideas towards achieving the ghostly look on stage, wardrobe ideas, and cool special effects we could do.

I am planning on working most of tomorrow on the planning for this, if you have anything more in depth for the scenes you have in mind let me know so I can work those ideas in.

Also if you guys need a relatively high range for any of the songs I offer my decently not awful voice to record higher ranges.

I am working on lyrics for this right now (both the main one and the reprise). @ThatGuyFromFlorida how soon can I get a melody (at least part of it) to get a feel for speed. Feels like a happier melody here for sure

Description for the first four scenes of Act 2:
Hopefully this help you all. If you need the dialogue heavy version I can provide that as well.

Hey @AceAstro and @montydysquith-navarro I don't know what you guys are thinking for presentation to replace the initial playbill presentation, but one idea I want to float by you is presenting it as if it's a free sample of a larger "Making of" book.

It'd make sense with the medium we're working with, and it could make our project look really interesting. Would you two like to go forward with something like this or do you have another idea?

Free sample of a book? As in "Let's look at how the Haunted Mansion musical was made. Here is a quick synopsis of the show for those unaware. Here is the music that went into it. Here is the original Broadway cast. etc."?
