Vince, take a deep breath and see this thing out. Are you a T.O. fan or an Eagles fan? Just because he's gotten hurt, you've flushed the season down the toilet--because one man got hurt. Let's see you rally behind your TEAM and your coaching staff and give them a chance to make the adjustments.
And remember this.......it's just a game.
I agree...
Believe me...I know how hard it can be to see your team come close year after year and always seem to come up short. I know how much of a disappointment it can be when you eat/sleep/breathe for your "team" and have them come within reach and fail. I know I said it once...but I was the same way when I saw Curt Schilling stumble off of the field "HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN??? THIS WAS OUR "ACE IN THE HOLE" to win!"...and the outlook of his return looked grim at best. Did we, as fans, give up? No. Did we get nervous? YES!
A great season of football was ahead of us...Drew Bledsoe gets badly injured. All hopes of a .500 season went down the drain. The rest of the team rallied together. Tom Brady...gets injured in the postseason. Drew comes back to pull the team to a victory.
Look at it this way.
Your team has some "play room" to not play up to the caliber of a team with "T.O." The NFC is weak. I hope the Eagles do it...(if the Pats don't...that is
