Completely agree. I've always thought Wishes was "dignified Disney;" the perfect amount of magic and pixie dust to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. :)

And interesting to hear things in Wishes are being/will be plussed.

I really can't tell what makes the two feel different though...Use of soundtracks and less naration? I can't figure it out but it's definably there.:lol:

but the only thing that bothers me about the park hr. cuts is as a AP holder EMH desn't help us at all so we can't make up for hr. cuts the same way resort guest can. I almost wish there was a EMH add on option for AP holders but I know the problems that would cause so it will never happen.
I hear ya. I don't like getting up before the sun to drive 90 miles so I can arrive at park opening. I like to get there a little later like 10:30am or so and be able to stay later. So it definitely stinks as a FL Res AP to have shorter hours. :(

Wow, angry much?

I'd give the advice to go ahead and accept the existence of the Halloween and Christmas parties, because they're insanely popular, and they make WDW a ton of money. I go every year, and love it every year, and I'll continue to go every year. ;)

The only reason the Christmas party is popular is because it is the only way to experience Christmas in the MK until right before Christmas. I don't mind paying for the Halloween party because you don't get anything in it during regular park hours. The Christmas party is a total money grab and just shows you how greedy WDW mgmt has gotten. While DL offers all of its Christmas stuff with admission and oh yeah they have IASW Holiday and HM Holiday.

Doesn't really bother me about the P&P cancellation. I though there was little or no value for the money. MVMCP is better but I think it's a shame that it runs 3 or 4 nights of the week cutting into the amount of times guest can spend in the park. I think all hard ticket events should only be once or twice a week. MNSSHP is IMO the very best and with the increase in ticket prices, even that is getting a little difficult to accept. I hope that Disney realizes that they need to continue providing a great value to guests in this economic climate or their attendance will suffer greatly.

The PP Parties demise is the first good news to come out of the whole cutbacks/economy in a freefall deal.

Anything that reduces the hard ticket parties is welcome.

As for Wishes, while the pyro is amazing, I have to admit I am very tired of the very grating soundtrack of moppets singing about wishes, dreams and magic.

Blech.

Remember is so much better (except for the opening bit that was 'borrowed' from Wishes) as is Disney in the Sky at HKDL.

Suck it up and deal with it.

For me, Wishes is the better show for me, simply because it runs every night. More than about 5mph wind at DL (which seems to be about 50% of the time), and Remember is cancelled. Not great for the paying guests.

You also cant beat the backdrop of Cinderella Castle with Wishes.

Wishes and RoE are the top notch daily night shows for me, worldwide.

I have never dealt with a rude CM at CRO. In fact, they've always been more than helpful. Especially with ADR's. Sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience??

Take a poll. Sounds like you'd be surprised at how many people have dealt with rude or unhelpful CM's.
