No more free bread at table service....

It actually makes a lot of sense. Most of the stories that “Jesica” writes are filler pieces about cupcakes and merchandise and other non important filler news. Tom writes on the big stuff and breaks “news”. Use a pen name to get the mundane filler stuff out, and use your name for the “important” news.

Ah... thanks.

Tom's MO is to do exactly that, embellish something up that could be believable and blow it way out of proportion to get a reaction. Disney rank and file CM loath CoreLESS because he is inherently dishonest and represents the worst of fan journalism. He is a toxic element that basically ruins it for everyone.

So yes it could be possible that people weren't served bread on that day, but it may not have been as sinister as TOM made it out to be, maybe the industrial bakery was down for maintenance? A bread truck broke down? Who knows. So yes people may not have been served bread. We all know you can never get a straight answer regarding a non-normal situation from Disney.

This is exactly the same thing he did the same thing with his "scoops" for The Seas, The Land, CBJR, JC, etc. He's earned the nickname Unscrupulous, and if it's true that he is Jessica Figueroa, that brings together a whole new level of bizarre.

Again, anything I’ve written that seems favourable to him (and that’s your interpretation rather than my intention) is based on things posted by people unconnected with his site, both here and in another forum. I cannot emphasise enough how little I care or know about this man; the only reason I know about him at all is that people here keep referring to his site, which I do not follow and never check.

I bet they sourced a lot of bus drivers too. Unscrupulous and his people have a reputation amongst cast members, primarily for the dreadful way CoreLESS has treated them. Just remember he’s gotten fed a lot of bad information before that he runs with right away and embellishes often leading to a walk back and more recently public rebukes from Disney directly.

Be very doubtful of anything that comes from that site. It’s not even worth a click when you can get reliable information here at WDWMAGIC.

his reputation should be key, because his has been destroyed. Very curious that you have gone out of your way, for a person that doesn’t view his site or know anything about him to overlook or ignore his awful track record And stick up for him. Further there have been posters on this thread who have directly contradicted what was reported by CoreLESS. Further, while I’m not entirely sure about the twitter claim that he is Jessica Figueroa, it would not surprise me at all.

I'm familiar with the site and its reputation.

It sounds far more plausible that Disney reversed course or ultimately decided not to implement what they were considering than that multiple people all gave him purposely wrong information. And they also gave guests the same purposely wrong information - just to further the conspiracy, I guess? Come on. Or are all these guests just Coreless plants in order to support him by posting on a board that has banned any links to his website? Not only is he Jessica Figueroa, he's LittleBuford and me and anyone else who's ever referenced his work in a positive manner. I hear he was really the one behind the craziness at micechat, too. He's downright diabolical. 😄

For what it's worth, in another thread, someone posted a video review they did of MRR and Jessica or... what I guess might have been some Tupac/Mickey projection of here was there so...

I don't really know who any of these people (allegedly) are. I don't follow that site and that video was the first time I'd seen any of them.

Whether she actually does any writing or not, she seems to exist and based on that video at least, has opinions independent of this Tom guy about WDW. 🤷‍♂️

I don't get that part. He's a real person that people have met. Jessica posts on his blog just like he posts on his blog.

Is the point saying he is Jessica that he doesn't do anything for the blog and when it is done under his name it is Jessica that's ghost writing as him?

Ok...

That's his Twitter page. You posted it twice. I don't know why you posted it even once. I know who he is and where to find his Twitter feed. And posting links directly to him isn't allowed.

You missed one category of story she "writes." And that is her news stories that are literally verbatim copy-and-paste jobs of articles on Disney Parks Blog, with no credit at all to the original and copyrighted source.

Is anyone interested in discussing what may have been at play in the incident reported to us by @Chomama? Since we all seem to agree that the other site and its owner aren't worth much consideration, perhaps we could move on from talking about them.

I know it may seem silly at this point but I do want to share my experience. I dined at Be Our Guest at the end of February for dinner. We asked for bread and were told very specifically that bread is no longer served in the MK. My friend had an allergy menu and tapioca rolls were even highlighted on the menu. Our server said they didn’t have the new menus but no sit down restaurants in MK served bread anymore. She was very uncomfortable having to say that because we were obviously confused. “Wait - like you don’t have any bread at all? Even the one on the menu?” I have a few friends who reported similar experiences at other MK restaurants INCLUDING CRT. Again, I don’t know if anyone cares but I just wanted to say it wasn’t a rumor and the cast had all been told it was official. Disney May be changing their tune or hoping this topic goes away. I’m not sure. But the bread was gone. Just sharing!!

They had already done this at some restaurants. Liberty Tree comes to mind but there have been others.

We had bread service at Liberty Tree last week.

Yeah, hasn't anyone been to a TS since this thread started to give a report?

Liberty Tree and Brown Derby both had bread service last week. Liberty Tree was on Friday, so well after the initial reports.

That's I think only if you order the family style. If you get something like the Pilgrim's Feast, no bread.
Correct. At LTT last December, we didn't order family style, so we ordered bread on the side as an extra for lunch. Those dinner rolls are so good!

Out of curiosity, which thread is that?

The one discussing Mickey's Runaway Railway. It's like a 30 minute video.

If you go to any of the articles about that ride and click on the "go to forums" link at the bottom, it'll take you to that discussion. It should be one of the last few pages. The video was embedded by someone who commented they could only get half way through because they couldn't stand the Tom guy but there are about half a dozen people in it behind desks or sitting on couches.

Spoiler alert: She seems to like the new ride but is kind of bitter about the one it replaced being removed.

My partner is a vegan and I lean vegetarian. From our perspective, the options are much better now than they were, but I appreciate that you and others have a different viewpoint.
when I went as a vegetarian teen in the late 80's-90's, we often were handed a "vegetarian menu" at several restaurants-(especially mexico) with 5+ offerings. not one "plant-based option" and you know, they used beans.

Were the available offerings good at least?
