There seemed to be several reports that restaurants inside the Magic Kingdom didn't offer bread, but it wasn't widespread.

Still no bread service at skipper canteen...went there right before WDW closed.

Yeah, well I'm thinking that's because it's more of a pan-Asian offering. I've never been to a Chinese, Korean or Japanese restaurant that brought bread to the table... tea, yes, but no bread.
Never heard of widespread. Prefer Flora myself

I don’t think they have any bread culture. Could be wrong but I’ve never had it brought either.

They used to have a terrific loaf of bread at the Skipper Canteen, with a honey-based drizzle - yummy!

They had bread service prior, and they still offer bread, but you have to pay for it.

It was complimentary back then, don't know if it still is, though.

I think the first and last time I had it was in 2016...haven’t seen it since...maybe again in. 2017. I was there just last month, and I specifically asked for it - I paid for Brazilian cheese rolls.

"Free", hahaha. Kinda like the "free computer" kids got from their college in exchange for paying their tuition bill? Maybe it is more of a bread exchange than anything else. Perhaps WDW says "we will give you this bread in exchange for you giving us some of your bread". Possibly?
