Compared to DL, thats like the only refurb for the holidays WDW got
All this from a company that runs on "Traditions". Why was there even a Christmas show in the first place? Not to get more people through in an hour. It was there to make people happy and get them in the Christmas spirit. You know, Having a Christmas tree in every park is a little much. One is fine. Not like having a Christmas tree at MGM will get more people through the gate. It's not even in the park! And you know people don't really stay at the hotels because of the decorations. If they want to see a tree, they can just rent one for there rooms. And the Norway Santa isn't as popular as the others in World Showcase, so let's just skip over him this year. After all, why bother?
Some people have never liked the CBJ and that's fine. However, not everyone that likes the attraction likes it because it is a "classic". I personally think the show holds up just as well today as it did when it opened. It has a timeless feel to it, IMO. And I think it is a shame that it isn't getting the Christmas treatment this year. That is unless there is a good reason behind it (Upcoming refurbishment and freshening up of the show).
I'm worried about the number of people cheering about a rumoured winding down of CBJ. To me, this is one of the main attractions I go to the MK for, along with the HoP, and CoP. If I want to go on the other attractions, I find many better incarnations at DL and DLP.
It's the unique attractions that bring me to MK. And now that the bears are dead at DL, the MK is the only place to experience them in English.
