The blue & white side of MetLife…hmmm…

It’s ironic…but a lot of the “big”
Franchises are in desperate need of a flyer on the cheap
It was predictable to hear the "Russell will sign a minimum contract" thought, or lack of thought with Denver on the hook for the balance....

While that could happen, it would be plausible if there is little market for his services.....

Right.....

The QB spending splurge in the last few years is littered with Teams of yet to recover....the worst examples:

Denver - no need to comment
Cleveland - Have $6Mil in cap space and a QB with a cap hit of $63Mil .... same Cap hit next 3 Seasons
Arizona - Have $56Mil in cap space and a QB with a cap hit of $51Mil ... almost thru the storm
LaChargers - Over the Cap $19Mil in cap space and a QB with a cap hit of $19Mil....This is one of the better contracts
The Chargers have 4 Players with cap hits north of $30mil....and QB is NOT one of them...

I can remember back in the 60’s & 70’s, most of the helmets had the standard grey face masks…then teams “freshened” up their looks and started adding colors. Now it seems they’re switching back to grey. Everything old is new again…I can’t wait for QB’s, punters and kickers to switch back to the single bar “bone crusher” masks again…
