Surprised it was of so little consequence….

Sports Talk Radio in ATL (de facto Press Secretary for the Falcons) have been trying to convince/explain away the Cousins signing followed by the Draft debacle ….. the Media’s current take was “the Falcons knew they were losing a 1st round pick for tampering “ as the reason why they reached for Penix….thought being they’d not have a chance until the 2nd Round in 2025 to Draft a QB

They’ll have to quietly move off that stance as the penalty was minimal…..

my takes so far for week 1. enjoyed the miamai/jacksonville game. happy the saints won. the giants played as bad as those uniforms looked. and so far as a play by play caller, brady was boring me. best game was chiefs/ravens. heck of a finish.

We enjoyed the evening game with the Lions and RAMs Sunday night. I really like the coach for the Lions and am glad to see them doing good. They were the underdogs for so many years, and I have a soft spot for the underdogs so I'm rooting for them, LOL.

what a beat down in dallas today. as a saints fan, im ecstatic, but i expected a closer game & didn’t think they’d win. very impressive dominant win.

I find it funny Von Miller can get suspended for something that happened LAST year that he was never charged over, and Rashee Rice can still play football even though what he did happened a few months ago.

I feel bad for the fans in Europe, they got the Jaguars 2 weeks in a row, and now Germany gets the Giants and Panthers on the 10th

Aaron Rodgers finally got his WR back and they still couldnt beat Russell Wilson. And to think, people honestly put them above the Bills in the division.
i think what he’s missing is a better offensive line, for starters. his costly interceptions are hurting them too. also have to take his age into effect. he doesn’t look bad, but he’s clearly not the player he used to be.

The pounding AR is taking at age 41 is incredible. Surely a candidate for CTE when not if.

Does anyone know how the Jets lineman is doing? He got carried off the field and we have heard nothing more about it. I hope he is doing okay and it's nothing permanent.

2 takeaways from last night's game:

Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are legit the scariest 1-2 combo in the league right now, and I'm not saying this because I'm a Ravens fan. The way both have been playing are on another level and if this keeps up, I smell a 3rd Super Bowl coming this way. I can see why the Titans didn't want to trade him to us last year.

2nd....the haters said Derrick Henry was washed up and he couldn't go anymore.....the man's like 130 yards away from 1,000 rushing and we're only through 7 games.
