It was wonderful waking up this morning and finding out that the Ravens are the #1 seed in the AFC..
Thanks Houston.

A year ago today the Packers fire Mike McCarthy after a brutal loss to the Cardinals and two playoff-less seasons. Today the Packers are sitting at 9-3 with a chance to host a home playoff game. I know this team is not perfect, but it's good to be playing meaningful December games again. I don't get the whining from a lot of our fans.

Also... when is the last time the NFC was this stacked at the top?

Booger McFarland is killing it this season. He's already said, "More games are lost than they are won." Tonight he said the Vikings never have fluke plays go their way... as he referenced the Minnesota Miracle.

Monday Night Football has been garbage for a while now, but it's gotten even worse this season.

It's total garbage. As much as I hate Colinsworth for similar things while talking as if he's the pinnacle of things.. and Dan Fouts on CBS... anything but Booger and MNF. At least the other two have something decent to offset them.. MNF.. no its all trash.

It's a wild thing to think Tony Romo is one of the best things on NFL broadcasts... because he's not on the field.

Colinsworth has grown on me over the years. Not my favorite, but tolerable. I actually do not like Tony on the broadcasts. He's simmered down more this season, but last season he was making predictions on every single play and was telling every single detail possible about each play. I really don't care about that personally. It's why I didn't like Gruden in the booth, either. They were too excitable. I get heavily criticized for this, but Joe and Troy are my favorite duo overall. I like that they are more mellow. That's just my personality and style. But Al Michaels is my all-time favorite.

Tony's perspective, even more so than all of the QBs in the booth over the last 20 years... Simms, Theisman, Boomer, Ganon, etc etc put it in real-time just how much intelligence there is in the teams reading the opponent pre-snap. His 'predictions' quantified for people just how accurate and detailed those pre-snap reads can be for those that study film and know the game.

I like Simms as a color analyst... but Tony came in like a tactician and was so good.. after just being so bad in the biggest games. It salvaged my long term opinion of him.. because he demonstrated right there on live TV his football IQ.

Colinsworth when you listen to what he says is just as contradictory and error filled as the Booger complaints. He says something, only 5-10mins later to completely contradict himself.. or make claims about a player's season like how great they are, when they have had mediocre or big issues. That's his biggest thing.. he loves to fluff some players up like "one of the best in the league.." or whatever non-sense.

I'm confused as to how Bills/Steelers was turned into a primetime game but the 49ers/Ravens game wasnt.

I think its more about who was in the night spot to start with. Patriots/Houston was the night game last week... for week 15 it was vikings and the dead chargers. They punted the bad game, more than moved the good game.

Stupid comment from SF analyst about Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson. Talking about having advantage running fake hand offs using his dark skin, dark football and dark uniforms. I'm glad the guy was suspended. But the worst comment was from Jimmy the Greek.......
