Correct, but Vikings could move to #5 if Seattle loses one (to either KC tonight or Arizona next week)

Yes to the follow up......there are two scenarios the Eagles can make it in:

Win and Vikings Loss OR Win and Seattle Loses out (tonight to KC and next week to Arizona) KC is leading 10-7
Thank you for that helpful answer ;)
I can see the Vikings losing to the Bears and Nick Foles leading the Eagles to a win over the Redskins. It could certainly unfold like that

Wonder what are the chances of the Eagles making it back into the playoffs? As really the Vikings need to win against the Bears to assure that.

The Bears would really like to win . If the Bears win and the Rams lose the Bears move from the 3 seed to the 2 seed and have a bye.
I like the Eagles' chances :)

- Rams get #2 seed, Bears get #3 seed, Eagles get #6 seed, Vikings are out
- Cardinals secure the #1 overall pick in the draft

I actually feel bad about Marvin Lewis, even though it had to be done.

I wanted the Bengals to win yesterday if for no other reason than Marvin leaving on a high note.

Oh well, looking forward to a new era!!

Raiders hire Mike Mayock as their new GM. Seems like Mark Davis is just going for flashy signings to attract a flashy future market.

Other news...

- Broncos fire Vance Joseph.
- Bengals fire Marvin Lewis.
- Dolphins fire Adam Gase.
- Cardinals expected to fire Steve Wilks.

I think your predictions are more likely to come to pass this year than last year. Nice job. My big disagreement would be that I predict the Cowboys will beat the Seahawks.

Well, I'm 1-3 in this week's predictions, but my Super Bowl picks are still in it! And I'm super happy the Bears lost. Now I just need the Cowboys and Patriots to lose, and it really won't matter who wins. Although I am cheering for the Chargers to win it all.

Here are my updated picks.

Divisional
IND @ KC (KC wins 38-34)
SD @ NE (SD wins 27-24)

PHI @ NO (NO wins 34-24)
DAL @ LAR (LAR wins 30-20)

Championship
SD @ KC (SD wins 35-30)

LAR @ NO (NO wins 38-30)

Super Bowl
SD vs NO (NO wins 34-30)

I partially pick with who I want to see win, too. If it was a competition like a pick'em league, I would go a little more straight forward with the picks. But here it's just for fun. I really don't think about the picks too much.
