I don't think Manning will ever get to another Super Bowl.
Eli might. I know that sounds laughable considering his dismal 2013 season. But when he gets on a roll...he can take 'em all the way as history shows.

Big brother Peyton? Yeah I think you're right. Even since his days at U.T. he just can never perform in the final dance (minus that one fluke season when he beat the Bears in the Super Bowl). Don't get me wrong, he is an excellent regular season QB, if not the best. But playoffs are not his cup 'o tea.

I agree we have seen the last of his Super Bowl appearances.

Rex Grossman isn't exactly tough competition. :p

Reading about Jim Irsey's recent DWI I really hope the NFL throws the book at him like they would if it happened to a player. No excuse this day and age for people to drive under the influence, especially a man of means.

Some interesting moves by the Giants. Signed DRC (Teammates with Antrell Rolle so they know each other), Walter Thurmond, Quintin Demps, all to help the secondary. Also signed Mario Manningham and Trindon Holliday (As long as he doesn't fumble, he'll be a much needed weapon on special teams!) Lost Kevin Boothe so I think we're drafting O-Line in the draft....or maybe a WR to replace Nicks...or a D-Line to alleviate the sole pressure from JPP (I think he should've done the Derrick Rose approach and sit out until he was 100% last season.)

It needs to be *more* severe than if it was a player. Owners should be held to even higher standards than players.

Banishment for 1 year minimum.

While I agree Mr. Irsay needs a suspension and a huge fine, the man needs some severe help. Look at a picture of him about 10 years ago and he was a robust individual who was in very good shape then look at him today. I saw some post game video on COlts.com during the season and poor Jimmy looked lost and out of it during Coach Pagano's speeches. I understand he has had some back problems but his drastic weight loss and strange ramblings on twitter show what his drug addiction has done to him.It reminds me of Courtney Love and some of her odd tweets.

This was not a alcohol related offense and as such I believe a harsher punishment is due for Jimmy but the bigger issue is he needs help and hopefully this is the exact wake up call he has needed. He has checked into rehab again(he was in some 10-15 years ago) and hopefully he gets well soon. Mr. Irsay is considered by his players, coaches, and entire staff as one of the best to work for. This is a man who paid for everyone from the janitor to the President of the Colts to get a Super Bowl Ring as well as paid for them all to go to Miami to see the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl in 2007. He is a truly good guy but has some serious demons. One other thing is I hope he hires a driver from now on. He should not drive any more with his history of abuse.

Vick to the Jets. Wow, didn't see that coming. I guess the Jets really do fear the sophomore slump for Geno Smith. The Mark Sanchez experiment is officially finished. And well, you can add another QB to the Raiders QB carousel: Matt Schaub. Is Houston really thinking of drafting Bortles or Manziel this year?

If I were Houston, I'd draft Clowney in the first, and either trade up, or look for a QB in the second. I think Derek Carr could be a decent fit, but don't know if a team will overdraft him.
Carr may be a bad omen after drafting his brother 1st overall with their first pick some 10 years ago!

I can't see them touching Carr. Even if his stock is rising, there are just too many bad feelings over what happened with David Carr. Mind you, you can blame a lot of that on them not focusing on a strong O-line to protect him, but I think even the Manziel haters would still be better with him over Carr.

Most are suspecting (from Houston's actions this week) that they are pushing for a QB in that first pick. The local buzz is pointing towards Bortels, but it's still a guessing game.

Ravens trade Buccanneers for C/G Jeremy Zuttah.

I was happy they were willing to trade for a center... and when this was rumored I thought 'sweet'... then I saw he was rated 22nd in the league... Bottom 1/3?? I guess something is better than nothing :/

The NFL will now penalize players for dunking a football over the goalpost.

http://tracking.si.com/2014/03/25/dunk-ball-touchdown-nfl-season-changes/

This was the most interesting part of the article to me:

The league is also considering whether to begin placing the ball at the 25-yard line for the extra-point attempt following a touchdown. The move would effectively make the attempt a 43-yard field goal. The possibility remains of the league trying out the measure in the preseason.

I've heard that there is not likely to be a change to the extra-point this season.
