McCarron and Mettenberger from LSU are still on the board. Maybe they're happy with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starter with Keenum and Yates behind him.

Possibly...DH was leaning towards that. I have this potential theory that they don't like any of the QBs in this draft enough to spend that kind of $ this year on that position. i.e. why spend 1st or 2nd round $ on a guy who'd be middle of the pack in years with a stronger QB class?

I don't think any of the QBs this year are ready to start from day 1. Fitzpatrick can get you through a season without messing up too much.

Overall, a good solid draft for G-Men. I will place Hakeem Nicks-esque expectations of Odell Beckham Jr since they took him that high. I personally would've preferred Zach Martin in the 1st round. But I like the Andre Williams pick for the ground game and Weston Richburg at center.

Here's an early red flag for fantasy football owners this fall, you may want to put Josh Gordon on your DND (Do Not Draft) list this season because apparently, he failed another drug test and could face a year long suspension. And maybe Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel as well since they'll have almost no one to throw to....

Packers got Jared Abbredaris! This redeems them not taking Chris Borland. I know being a homer is not always best for the team, but I think these two players can succeed in the NFL, especially for a well-coached organization like the Packers.

Overall a good draft that filled several needs. Ha Ha was a perfect mix of value and need, same with Davante Adams. Starting in the third, I think they got a little reachy with their 2 third round picks, but I have no doubt that they were at the top of Ted Thompson's draft board - there's no way he's reaching in his mind.

The thing is the Brown might be after rookie free agents at the Wide Receiver position although it doesn't make any sense on why the Browns didn't draft a Wide Receiver.

I am mentioning rookie free agents because of how deep the Wide Receiver class is this year because there was Wide Receivers drafted in the 4th or 5th this year that would have been drafted in a couple rounds earlier in any other year.

Robert Mathis the Defensive POY last year suspended 4 games for PED use. He started taking meds around late November(after he had already made a ton of sacks) to help him and his wife have another child(which his wife is now pregnant) While it wasn't for enhancing his play he still should have taken the time to call the NFl and make sure it wasn't a banned substance. As a Colts fan it sucks but as a Football fan it is absolutely the right call. Now if Goodell could let Jimmy Irsay know the punishment for his stupidity this offseason we could move on!
